If only there would have been a way for us to have 2 top 5 picks in this incredibly loaded draft. IF ONLY THAT HAD BEEN POSSIBLE.
Don't go there. Just don't.
Too late.

What would everyone rather have happen, Lakers keep their top 3 pick this year, then improve next year and they give philly a pick in the late lottery, or the pick ends up 4th and the Lakers lose their pick in this loaded draft?

Personally, even though philly getting the 4th pick would sting quite a bit, I'd rather not see the lakers add a stud to their team.

I'd personally rather Philly get the pick and it falling out of the top 3.

I'd prefer the pick get sucked into a wormhole. Not necessary the individual who is drafted, but the pick itself. Is that an option? Can we get anyone on that?

After a real crappy season and a glimmer of hope with the lottery, Valley of the Suns throws water on that hope with this article. Debbie Downer is still here.

Screw the Lakers.

Not that interested in Ball. Give me Fultz or give me Jackson.

Screw the Lakers.

I am the worst judge of the draft ever, so nothing I say matters in any way whatsoever. But from the limited amount that I've seen Fultz and Ball, I really really like Ball. I don't know what it is about him. I like his shot, I like his passing, I like the way he runs an offensive possession. A little herky-jerky looking, clearly still learning to control his body carefully. Fultz looks much more controlled, polished. But I just love watching Ball go to work. I would love to have him as a Sun.

So of course we will get the 5th or 6th pick, right?

Forget the past. Forget we used to have that pick. Now. Who would you rather have that pick? Lakers or Philly. For Suns fans that's a no brainer.

I agree with you. There is a little bit of that Pete Maravich showman lanky droopy sock kind of thing with him.

I also like the fact that he always finds a way to contribute with potentially excellent scoring, distributing, rebounding and defense. If his shot is off he is rebounding and passing etc.

He also wins.

I agree and love the way that he sees the game. Like JCSunsfan said, he finds those ways to contribute and it's not to just pad his stats, it's to figure out how to win. UCLA was terrible last year and many fans wanted to get rid of Alford. Now, his team has a chance to win the title, and it wasn't like he had the consensus overall #1 recruiting class, they came in #5. This is the Ball effect.

If Fultz, Ball, and Jackson are off the board when we pick, who does everyone like?

I'm leaning towards Johnathan Issac, but I'm starting to wonder if Malik Monk is the right choice. I don't know if a Monk-Booker backcourt works, but Monk is such a gifted offensive player, he'd be hard to pass up. He's the best shooter in the draft and might be the best athlete. Hasn't shown he can play the point yet, but he'd be perfect as a scorer off the bench behind a Bledsoe/Booker starting backcourt.

Today against Florida, Monk went 8/13 from the field, 4/4 from 3, and 10/10 from the line during the 2nd half to score 30. He's not a great fit, but his offensive skills will make him very valuable in today's nba.

Anybody else watching U of A vs UCLA? Looking forward to this one. Gonna get to see our Cats as well as watching Ball play up close in a big game.

Ball is having himself a game. Really fun to watch, and he's doing quite well against Arizona so far in the first half. Hitting shots, great passes, getting steals, etc.

Lonzo Ball's Dad Says 'My Son Will Only Play for the Lakers.'

I'd have to assume that the dad is just running his mouth and that this does not actually represent Lonzo Ball's wishes. It would be stupid for him to insist on that. From what I've heard the dad is a total douche.

Idk. He has absolute control over those kids. It wouldn't surprise me.

Their names are hilarious: LiAngelo, LaMelo and Lonzo Ball.

I think he should have named them something like Foul, Air, and Jump. If he has another kid, name him Shoot.
