Randle is about what I expected. I'm really disappointed by how little Khem Birch weighs.

Measurements did Gordon and Harris no favors. Gordon is 6'7" w/no real perimeter skills, ouch. Vonleh was bigger than I expectedd.

My favorite thing today was GR3 leading the way in spot up jumpers, I think he was like 31/50, still really like his potential.

Gordon measured 6'7.5" which means he's 6'9" in shoes. He's fine.

He has all the physical tools to be good at the NBA level, but so many times this season he would just disappear and show little to no scoring instincts or ability.

Depends on your definition of fine. I hoped he was bigger than that, 220lb is light too.

I agree, I thought he flashed more last year and this year he would take the next step. Instead Stauskas was the one who stepped up.

Not only Stauskas; Caris LeVert was tremendous this year.

For anyone looking for a little measurement analysis. Do those people exist? :D

Speaking of which, what did his vertical come in at?

I never know what to take away from these combines and pre-draft camps. They line up the players and measure them like cattle. Then the NBA groupthink seems to change its minds on guys based on things like "We thought he was 6'9" but he measured out as 6'7.5" in shoes" or "His wingspan was over 7'1!" or "He did 23 benchpresses of 250lbs, what strength!" Haven't there been plenty of guys (e.g. Kevin Durant) who flopped at these measurements and then went on to be great pros? And plenty of guys with great measurements (Stromile Swift) who stunk in the NBA?

From JCSunsfan (former .netter) over at ASFN:
Gambo said the the first two players that the Suns interviewed (or are scheduled to interview) at the draft combine are Exum and Smart. They are only allowed to interview a limited number of players.
Hmm.

I'll jump to the conclusion and over a few steps right quick and get it out of the way  :

Smells like a Dragic trade.....

Yep - gonna trade Dragic to move into the top 5 to snag one of 'em, for sure.

'Course, that'll chop the legs off of Frye - losing half of that "best pick-and-roll in the league" and all. But, I'm sure that he & his $6.8 million won't get too awful bruised.....

I'm probably his biggest fan, but Marcus Smart would be lateral at best (certainly a step back early) but I could see a scenario where Dragic is in play for an upgrade in size at the 2. That scenario pretty much rules out Dragic, but Bledsoe could be moved for a PG as well.

He's staying in school so he wasn't at the combine. And yes, I know you were trying to be funny. ;)

I've always thought that measuring height with and without shoes is kind of dumb. The meat is in wingspan, standing reach and real basketball court capacities like lane agility. Those are much more important than strenght and vertical jump.

By the way, Wiggins jumped about as much as the recordman Jeremy Evans, 43,5 inches http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball- ... 01185.html

Let's pray it is actually a Bledsoe sign and trade.
