Scott Foster is on the Warriors/Grizzlies game tonight. I'm sure that'll go so smoothly...
I'll be watching him closely.

Things getting chippy in Memphis.

Brooks vs. Payton II, a little Oregon on Oregon St. action. FWIW, Brooks is probably the only guy from my school that I dislike. He's in the same class with Marcus Smart and Pat Beverley when it comes to dirty defensive plays.

Draymond really milked that elbow. He got hit, but com'on, everyone knows it wasn't that forceful.

Are you sure? I mean I saw Draymond's arms flail. That means it was *really* forceful.

6/10. I'd have given it 10/10 if he did the "too small" thing after the lay-up.

Brooks ejection might have helped them lol
Zhaire Williams stepped up in those minutes and played very well for a rook

Considering how Klay ended Game 1 basically getting off the hook and now another crucial turnover late with a brickfest. Rough start to the series for him

Pretty obvious what Kerr is trying to accomplish here, but like bajanguy said, the Grizzlies are kinda better without Brooks. It's also pretty silly how Kerr starts rattling off Payton's journey to the NBA as if Brooks was thinking about all of that before he challenged the shot.

Payton was on a fastbreak and took a harder fall, but was that foul much worse than the one Draymond put on Clarke? Both guys were hit in the head and knocked to the ground. I don't think it's fair to play the results based on an injury. Clarke could've just as easily twisted a knee or hurt his wrist or arm on the fall.

wouldn’t wish injury on anyone, but if we’re to face Golden State next round, Payton would’ve been a guy who could have given us problems.

Oh that's rough
When I looked at the replay, it was a little disturbing hearing him agonizing in pain in the background audio.

I absolutely agree with Kerr on this. It doesn’t have to be intentional to be dirty. You should care that you’re not putting another player in danger. It should be worth more than the 2 or 3 points you’re trying to save. I love Brooks’ energy but that was some Pat Bev shit.

I remember when Danny Fortson took out Zarko and Jerry C wanted a rule where if you get another player injured on a play you sit out as long as that player is out.

Now that’s a little extreme, but I think it should warrant a multi game suspension. That will get players to play with a little more caution.

Brooks is on my short list of least favorite players in the league.

Beverley, Brooks, Allen, Campazzo, Morris twins, Hayes, and Portis

Seems like the number of teams that have a punk-ass bitch player has gone up this year.

Pelicans: Avocado
Wolves: Beverley
Grizzlies: Brooks
Warriors: entire roster
Jazz: O'Neale

Did I miss any in the West?

Campazzo on the nuggets, though he doesn’t really play. Marcus Morris on the Clips, and I’d say Hayes on NOP…Alvarado is annoying, but I don’t think he’s dirty. He’s like Jevon Carter or honestly like Chris Paul(moreso in his younger years)

I don't like Dillon, but I would have been happy with that trade. I wanted the Suns to take him in 2nd round of the 2017 NBA Draft over Davon Reed. I think this team needs an irritant or 2 on the team to get under the other team's skin from time to time. Payne used to be that, but he's moved away from that type of role for some reason, imo. Someone that plays with a chip on their shoulder and is always in people's faces.

Exactly.
