It is dumb. It’s pot. Waste of time and energy. Hopefully he’ll get it squashed.
Still. I’d feel real sketchy to drive with all that through the midwest.

Kentucky feels a lot more like the South than the Midwest (from someone that has lived in both). (And I wouldn't want to be driving with 3 lbs of weed in either place!)

He needs to hire Willie Nelson's lawyer.

Still, he's not making enough playing in the NBA? He's got to supplement his income by dealing drugs?
Like Indy said, he's not selling this weed. Some people smoke a lot and people like him who've "made it" tend to take care of those around them.

The really stupid part is, if he wants to get a bunch of pot, can't he get one of his friends or associates to take care of that? Why is he handling it himself and driving around with it? I have similar questions about whenever athletes get caught for a DUI. It's like, can't you pay a driver? You drive yourself around even when you're drunk? Really?
You're right. I'll start with that.

But the cultural temperature on marijuana is so cool right now that no one in his position really thinks about those consequences. Hell, he's probably smoked indoor in public places around the country and been thanked for his patronage. That's the point I was trying to make with my initial comment about marijuana laws.

I absolutely agree that having marijuana shouldn't result in a felony charge or 5 years in prison. I'm just saying, if that's the law and you're rich, don't take a risk by carrying around that much of it by yourself.

Whole lot of nothing for Christian Wood. Kinda gives a sense of his value around the league.

So everybody else can trade garbage to get a value player except we can’t

Mavs are already better next season now. Heat is on.

Now I want to see the Rockets draft Chet Holmgren and play him in the front court with Sengun.

I mean, a Holmgren-Poku frontcourt is basically the greatest thing ever, so I’m not sure I agree.

They'd actually have to commit to playing Poku real minutes for that to happen.

The real plus minus numbers tell a different story. His on court performance is consistently a net positive for teams.

Off court may be a different matter: he's a "difficult" player for teammates and coaches.

Dallas will be the best team Wood's played on so if it doesn't work there, it's on him. I wouldn't make a move as a reaction to Dallas' trade, I just want the best possible roster for us. We went big last offseason because we were too small in the Finals, then we couldn't adjust to a smaller Dallas team in the 2nd round this year. Need to find a balance.

Remember, before things turned to shit the Suns had won something like 13 straight against Dallas. So if the Suns don't have their heads up their collective asses, Dallas isn't a problem. And Christian Wood isn't any more of an answer than Porzingis was.

The Suns are good enough that they really don't need to worry about what other teams do, they just need to shore up a couple of areas. And get in the right mindset.

#4 for Kuzma?! Honestly not even that surprising that the Kings would consider that. I think I could run that team better.

Edit: I read the article and this is just reporters spitballing..also it was Kuzma, #10, and a future 1st for #4 and Harkless. That’s more even…still wouldn’t put it past the Kings to trade the pick for some mid player. Also I still think I could’ve done better over the last 15 years if I was running the Kings.

Instead we're gonna trade a very valuable player for garbage.
