That's not a bad signing for them. They need a true PG on that roster to feed the bigs, and he can knock down some spot up 3s.

I agree - Marshall is a good fit for that squad, to the extent any minimum-salary player can be.

Could their description of trouble be any more vague? Reads like tabloid garbage.

It's not tanking if you're trying to be good but you're just inept.

Man I hate that guy, he's just perfect for the Lakers. He speaks like he's been there already, play your first NBA game kid, you didn't exactly tear up summer league...

My thoughts exactly.
I am somewhat relieved the Lakers didn't draft a dominant post player in Okafor or the mad upside of Porzingis. The guy fits LA perfectly but I think D'Angelo is going to be more flash than substance. Not high on Towns either but being just solid on both sides of the court goes a long way for big men.

The Lakers were a disaster last season, and their only significant acquisitions are Roy Hibbert and a 19 year old point guard. How's that supposed to get them into the playoffs?

It won't, but maybe Hibbert, Lou Williams, a healthier Kobe, Randle, Clarkson and Russell is enough to scape the bottom three.
Brandon Knight better have a better season than his first half in Milwaukee, let alone the games he played for us.

I love the 2015-16 Lakers. They acquired JUST enough veterans and talent to make it likely that they'll get the 5th or 6th worst record in the league, which will mean that they'll lose their pick. That is sad to me because we traded that pick away, but I'd rather ANYBODY else have that pick than the Lakers. And it will be fun to watch them suck yet again.

For a three or four year period in the late 70's to early 80's Malone was the best player in the NBA. He was just relentless on the boards. Nobody could handle him.

Moses was a force of nature in the paint. His work rate at rebounding was off the charts.

So sad these guys are dying so young. Those big bodies must have to work harder than the average guy. Everything I read, he was a great guy. RIP.

There are some great Moses stories in the book Breaks of the Game, which chronicles the Walton Blazers. I highly recommend it.
