Of course - that's where the old people go to retire.

Unfortunately, Amar'e hasn't really been that relevant since the first year he was in New York.

Fixed that for you.

Actually his post-All-Star Game numbers were better than his pre-ASG that first year -

Now the playoffs were another story...

Damn, you're right. I really thought his production fell off when they acquired Melo.

D'Antoni burned Amare out playing him so many minutes. He was never the same after that year of wear on his body.

Is 35 minutes per game a burn out rate?

D will to the Mavs after Nets buy out. He was terrible last yr, but it's an upgrade for Dallas at the Point after what they have
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Interesting take, but I don't buy it. Amare had bad genes. He was going to have Microfracture surgery regardless.

Right on all accounts.

I like the moves Dallas has made post-Jordan fiasco.

That is insane. Matthews is pretty good, but he's not great, and he's coming off a serious injury.

It is if you're damaged good to begin with. Which is why the Suns chose to let him go. New York just chose to ignore it.

Why do the MAVS love to bring in all the old junkers and hope for the best? Also is there a bigger bro-douche in the NBA than Parsons? I mean, dude, wtf

It's not just about the number of minutes per game. It's also about pace, about playing too many consecutive minutes in a stretch without rest, about not giving players games off, about not being more cautious with oft-injured players, etc.
