I was going to post the same exact thing.
We have kind of always known that about JJ, right?

Mike Conley, 5 years, $153 million. $30 million per season. Highest overall salary in history and first $30 million per season deal.
But what will we do with Chandler's albatross of a contract?!

4/38 from the Bucks. That's almost $10M a year for an o.k. back-up PG. Yeah, Knight's deal is just fine.
Knight's contract is a bargain now. Markieff is outstanding value. Marcus is insane value. Bledsoe would be too if it wasn't for the meniscus. To each his own, the GM did well in those negotiations. IT3's contract is out of this world as well.
I agree that they are relatively cheap, but it's not a bargain if he's not a good player.

Bledsoe and Knight have showed they can't carry an offense by themselves but that doesn't mean they are not talented or useful. They are not world beaters but if they are not hurting your chemistry and you have not logjams you can be satisfied with them. Sadly we have had too many troubles over the last two seasons so probably their relationship with the fanbase is fubare. But their contracts shouldn't be a cause for it anymore.

The Lakers are bound and determined to get the 9th seed in the West next year.

V9MM, at least you copped to it with grace. Cap
still hasn't said anything about being fooled by the fake Woj.

Cap -- you've just been called out!
Herman -- doubt it. Cap's just too good of a capologist

More deals coming today. Afflalo gets 2/25 with the Kings. Biyombo is going to the Magic for 4/70. I have no idea why they would do that after trading Oladipo for Ibaka, but whatever.

Which makes that draft pick we gave up that everybody was pining for not such a big deal.

And you're too good of an economist. We were both felled by the combination of substance abuse and new territory.

Why are the Hawks trying to trade Milsap so they can resign Horford now that they have Howard?

I actually like it.
Biyombo is a terrific complemet to a stretch 4. This gives you a pair that is limited on offense, although with well defined roles. While the defense and rebounding become actually stengths. Vuc off the bench.
Ibaka is supposedly angry at being marginalized in OKC (I don't agree, btw) and Orlando will give him touches in the paint. This could be ugly with Biyombo being essentially a zero and Ibaka historically a poor post player who now could very well be facing the attention of two defenders in the pain. It has a better shot at working with Vuc and his ace midrange shot. Ibaka is the only defender but at least rebounding is still there.

I guess this means Divac giving up the pursuit of Waiters in favor of Afflalo. Good call if true. Cheaper, real pro, maybe even just plain better. Needs to defend again.

What does Orlando do with Gordon now? Can Gordon-Ibaka-Biyombo frontcourt work on offense? They also signed Jeff Green didn't they?
I'm not all that exicted about their rebuild. They could make the playoffs, but I don't think they have enough room for improvement for much else.

Plus, they'll have some of the most impressive sets of biceps in the paint in the entire league.

Ryan Anderson got 4yr/80mil from Houston. It's good to be a free agent this year.

AND next year and the year after that and the year after that.
Think Kobe is regretting retiring?

I wonder if that means Nikola Vucevic is available. But you're right, it doesn't make sense.
