I like what I've seen of Semi Ojeleye. Thoughts on him as a Draymond-like player?

I like Ojeleye quite a bit. Very athletic and thought of as a sf/pf hybrid. I personally see him as closer to Jimmy Butler type, but maybe a Draymond Green is close.carey wrote:I like what I've seen of Semi Ojeleye. Thoughts on him as a Draymond-like player?
Kellen is saying that he can't defend even at an average level but I've read the opposite and his athleticism is off the charts. He's already 22 though and if he can't defend now that could be a big red flag.In2ition wrote:I like Ojeleye quite a bit. Very athletic and thought of as a sf/pf hybrid. So he's Karl Anthony Townes and just nobody as noticed?In2ition wrote:At 32, I hope that Jordan Bell is available. I saw some workout footage and his outside jumper looked pretty decent to me. I think he can guard 3-4 positions and is a good passer and rebounder. I think the Suns might have to get ahead of the second 1st round pick by the Lakers to get him though.
I am also a fan of Anzejs Pasecniks and think he is a taller, longer, more athletic, better jumper, better footwork and much better hands version of Alex Len. He could come over right away and easily make Len expendable immediately(although I don't see the Suns bring Len back anyway).
After that, Bam Adebayo, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, Semi Ojeleye, Sindarius Thornwell, Dillon Brooksm, PJ Dozier and others all look like they could contribute immediately. Jonathan Jeanne looks like a great draft and stash in Europe or now in the G League.
Haha, no no no, not that good. I don't think he will be as solid physically as Towns and I think he's about 2 inches taller. Also, he doesn't have quite the range as Towns either, who legitimately has good 3pt range. He's a great prospect though, and I think he might end up being what we hoped Len would have turned out to be.O_Gardino wrote:So he's Karl Anthony Townes and just nobody as noticed?In2ition wrote:At 32, I hope that Jordan Bell is available. Because the concievers would be super super old. These brothers were born like 35 years apart. I don't need the details.In2ition wrote:Why? Looks like the Suns were there to interview him too. This was kind of crazy.Superbone wrote:Were you guys aware there's another Barry brother?! I had no idea. He shoots FTs underhanded like his dad too. Meet Canyon Barry:

“I did some hard majors,” Barry said (in what is an extreme understatement). “My Master’s is in Nuclear Engineering, so it’s nice to be focusing on jump-shots instead of neutron multiplicity and reactor theory.”
