Bickley and Vinny's show is going to have Marquese on in the next segment, if any of you are interested. Can't wait for the hard hitting questions.

You say that like it's an aberration. It's been that way since he came into the league. His form looks good and his shots are mostly on target, but they just don't fall.
Well, it's only his second year in the league, and he didn't really get consistent time last season, so while I agree it's not an aberration, I also don't think we can say it's routine either. I think it's a confidence thing at this point. What I want is for one of the coaches to pull him aside and tell him that he can't shoot jumpers until he makes a layup. Next time you're wide open at the 3-point line, take 2 hard dribbles and go up strong. When you see the ball go in and you get some rhythm, fight through some contact and finish, then take your open jumpers if you want. But first, attack the basket.

I noticed something on the broadcast before the game that I never noticed before. Probably because I never saw him shoot that close up. They were showing him and talking about him and then he started doing some one handed shooting, which is great for lining up your shot and taking out the opposite hand. The problem I saw was that when he shot it, all his fingers came together on his follow through. I don't know if he's shooting with his fingers together or not normally, but this was odd. Your index finger is your shooting finger and it will help it go left or right, and normally your fingers are separated when you shoot to get a good feel of the ball in your hand. When you keep your fingers together, you are in a sense combining fingers for a left or right control trajectory. This becomes an added variable to control. The idea is to eliminate the number of variables that could go wrong and keep it as simple as possible. I haven't worked with or seen him close up, but I found this odd and I personally would think that this may be causing some of his inconsistancy, along with his perceived flat arc.

Look at that photo of all the empty seats. It's the team's home opener and even the first few rows right behind the players are empty. Pretty pathetic.

They aren't any good and everyone knows it. Phoenix is a show me town as you can see with the Diamondbacks this year. Attendance will come with winning. It is what it is.

I know the lady in purple above Booker's head.

I was going to say that this photo was taken after the game was essentially over, but the stuff draped over some of those empty seats confirms that they were empty all game.

They've all got their warmups on still. Pretty sure that was taken before the game started
