Junior year at Horizon High School in Scottsdale. I was playing baseball out of Cactus during the early Summer.

I was also 30 having just moved to Phoenix during the conference semis and was just looking for something to watch on TV and I fell in love with the team. I also thought well there was always next year. After getting screwed by refs and injuries and countless other BS I was so worried this year would end up the same way.

I was 13. I became a fan because of those Barkley years. I thought, how fun, watching the local team go all the way to the Finals to face Michael Jordan and the Bulls! I can't believe they literally have never been back ever since. It has been so long, and we've been through so much. I've been through so much in my own life, and now I have a family of my own and 3 kids, a little too young to become Suns fans yet, but that's just how long it's been since we have been in this position. Wow.

You didn't happen to be at Geronino, did you? After game 6, some of the other boys took the sole gloating Bulls fan and his foot locker to the lake...
