I criticize Trump plenty on the Trump thread.

The main reason for posting the alcoholism stuff is so that people are aware that it’s a MAGA talking point now that has started blowing up.

Apologies. Thanks for sharing. We don't really get enough of the MAGA talking points anymore since In2ition stopped posting in politics. Appreciate it. They sure seem to really be jumping all over that topic with all the replies in that Tweet you shared.

I have heard only once briefly this "Kamala is a drunky drunk" accusation, but I haven't seen any evidence for it. I'm not going to watch some MAGA swamp videos where she acts a bit uncouth and assume it somehow implies that she is drunk. I don't see any need for baseless accusations. I have never seen Kamala act in any way inebriated or impaired. It just seems like a silly thing that some people made up. But it is fine to mention it as a thing that is being talked about. I wouldn't say it is "blowing up on X" as a general topic since I've seen no trace of it, but maybe in the MAGA side of things it is.

Presumably this is because of their being black women and having slightly larger builds, causing some morons to decide this must mean they are male. Needless to say such accusations are ridiculous and offensive.

It’s just, “What is the most offensive thing we can say about a woman?” thinking, like the claim that Harris is a prostitute who slept her way to the top. And to them, accusing someone of being transgender is one of the worst insults imaginable.

Yeah, I think that's definitely on target. It's the equivalent of the past insult of spreading rumors that somebody was gay, which used to be considered embarrassing or bad.

When I see her talk, I can picture Barack saying the exact same thing the exact same way. It’s almost like they have melded their minds and become one. They are both excellent public speakers.

Walz had some nice moments in his speech tonight. He calls out his kids and his son stands up and claps, emotional, and says "that's my dad!" Here a few other clips, too. I really think Walz has "it." Kamala made a home run choice with this guy. He is so genuine and relatable and normal and doesn't seem like a typical skeezy politician. I liked his speech a lot.

That’s cool on Walzs son…. Closest thing you’ll find to a Trump kid feeling an emotion like that is telling them they’d have to fly charter somewhere.
