I had a similar thought last season. I thought Jokic looked better than Porzingis. I still really like Porzingis though.

Agreed. I think DLo is a bum. He, like Booker will probably never defend at a high enough level to be a positive on that end. Physical limitations are hard to overcome defensively.

Look at the history of other PGs production throughout NBA history as 21-year olds.

I do have big concerns over his maturity level/makeup and minor concerns over his D, but I think he's got a lot of talent.

I don't hate the trade for the Lakers. Like it more for BKN, though.

Seems like they could have gtten more for Russel. It'll work out for LA because players want to play there now and it seems destined they will sign two high level guys in the next year, but Russell I thought was worth more. They used hi to shed salary, which is surprising. I like the Trade for the Nets who couldn't of gotten much more for an aging Lopez. I saw him play in person last year, he looked like a shell.I think Russell will flourish in NJ.

Apparently not. It was reported that the Lakers called every team in the lottery trying to trade DAR for a lottery pick and couldn't get anyone to bite.

I should say he'll flourish if they put the right pieces around him and he gets his head on right. He's still really young though and I think the move out of LA will help him mature.

This piece on Russell says alot and watching him play he never really created much, most of his assists were in transition. In BK they really push the pace and he will get plenty of shots so he should be good for Fantasy league

The biggest revelation, though, was that Russell may actually be better suited to operate as a shooting guard rather than a conventional point guard since he's a capable spot-up shooter who can use the threat of an improving jumper to take defenders off the dribble.

"I feel like when you're playing shooting guard, you've got to score the ball or make plays for your teammates," Russell said after he erupted for a career-high 40 points as the Lakers' starting 2 in a March showdown against the Cleveland Cavaliers, per ESPN.com's Baxter Holmes. How old is Jordan? He makes some sense as neither Chriss or Bender is a good rebounder or defensive anchor, but I still don't think it's the kind of trade we need to be making right now.

I'd draft the best available player, run our young guys out there again next year and see what we've got. I'd also shop Bledsoe/Chandler/Warren and see what offers we get.

Sure...I'll do Jordan for Chandler. If the Clippers play their cards right, I might throw in Knight:)

The LAL-BKN trade increases the chances that BKN makes a free agent offer to Len. I don't think he'd be their first choice, but he fits their timeline and makes some sense there.
