I think we just disagree on Brogdon. I think he's already ready to be a low usage PG on a contender. He's never going to be a star, but he's a 40%+ 3 pt shooter, a great defender, and a solid playmaker. He's the perfect fit in our backcourt. He can play PG with Booker and sg with Ulis. He'll hit open 3's, move the ball on offense, and defend the opposing teams best back court player. He'd also take all of Daniels minutes anyways and we've got another potential promising young shooter, davon Reed, on the team.

This is fascinating question, especially considering that Jones is already on the out. I would assume Dudley, Daniel, and Chandler are all candidates to lose minutes, and that Reed might not find a spot in the rotation when he gets back.

There was a narrative flip after '16 when we had some injuries. McD started talking about how our poor record was his fault because we didn't have the dept to play on without our best players. That's when they started trying to go 15 deep with guys who need minutes. It has not improved our team on the court or in the locker room.

How much of Simmons have you watched? He's definitely proven to have All-Star level ability to me.

To be honest, I've not seen a single NBA game he has played. But I don't care if he's Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Bill Russell rolled into one, as long as he's a Klutch klient I don't want anything to do with him.

Bucks fans don't think they should have to give up Brogdon to get Bledsoe. They don't even want to give up Thon. This is all because Eric asked for a trade.

BTW. Milwaukee really needs a pg AND a center. A combo of Bledsoe and Chandler, I think, would interest them. They need rebounding. Just not sure what we would want or be willing to take back in return.

I agree with Split on Daniels, but would still want the Bucks pick this year or next. Especially since we do have to take some $ back.

Wouldn't Milwaukee HAVE to ship out Brogdon? I don't think he would want to be benched in favor of Bledsoe and we know Bledsoe wouldn't want to be benched for Brogdon. So I think the Bucks have to make a choice. If it's anything we've learned being Suns fans is that having 2 or 3 startign PG's DOESN'T work.

Brogdon can play on the wing next to Bledsoe. Although that puts Snell on the bench. Unless they want to go super small with a bled/Brogdon/Snell/Middleton/Antetekounmpo lineup. That's actually a really interesting version of the warriors lineup of death.

It's simple then. They can't have him.

I fail to see how Bledsoe asking to be traded does any real damage to his value. He's still in his prime, and on a great contract for two years. We don't care if we win this year, we could literally leave him at home all season. Did he have more value over the summer? Sure, but not much. These teams will low ball us at first, hoping we panic trade him, but the trades will increase in value as we wait. Just look at Kyrie, the Cavs got a great haul for him.
