No thanks. He's the Nerlens Noel of point guards. He has a bit of a good rep from his draft position, and he has great physical measurements. But he can't play basketball, and he has played fewer and fewer minutes each season in the NBA. The Knicks are welcome to him.Split T wrote:Wally_West wrote:https://mobile.twitter.com/wojespn/status/961676997775773696
I wouldn't have minded acquiring Mudiay. I'm not a big fan but I'd give him a chance. Can't be worse than what we're running out at pg

He has been absolute trash, but we have no PGs. Seems silly that we weren't in on this just to kick the tires.Split T wrote:Wally_West wrote:https://mobile.twitter.com/wojespn/status/961676997775773696

That’s not a fire sale. The Cavs significantly upgraded their roster short and long term today. I am very impressed.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I wish the Suns could get in on the Cavs fire sale and trade for Kevin Love.

Noah Vonleh to the Bulls for next to nothing. Could have tried him here. Glad we are holding on to our 17 2nd round picks. Swing and miss.

Lakers always find accommodating teams. until he's gone, Thomas's scoring should help them win a few more games, to the detriment of the team with their pick.
as far as Cleveland, it's a conundrum with Lebron in the middle
btw, if we scored in the draft, why wouldn't PHX be one of the possible destinations for him and another star within the next 2 years?

IT had to be moved. Did you know he was shooting something like 20% off of passes from LeBron.1tinsoldier wrote:Lakers always find accommodating teams. until he's gone, Thomas's scoring should help them win a few more games, to the detriment of the team with their pick.

Yeah, we burned all our bridges with Rich Paul & Klutch sports. LeBron is not signing here.

Because the Suns are a rudderless joke of an NBA franchise.1tinsoldier wrote:btw, if we scored in the draft, why wouldn't PHX be one of the possible destinations for him and another star within the next 2 years?
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Absolutely. Got younger, faster, deeper, better defesively.specialsauce wrote:That’s not a fire sale. The Cavs significantly upgraded their roster short and long term today. I am very impressed.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I wish the Suns could get in on the Cavs fire sale and trade for Kevin Love.
That for the price of a low 1stR (granted, in '18), two unwanted forwards who overall were pretty overpaid for their current production and two guards who were not wanted either and weren't providing jack. Fry was a loved guy though (under the former CBA he would be primed to pull a Stackhouse).
They even cover their asses if LeBron leaves despite this upgrade effort as all the guys but Hill are young. That, and the Nets pick should make easier the transition.
Now think about the possibilities for Cleveland if LeBron stays thanks to that pick. Say it remains #7. You are sure to be drafting the last one of the greatly hyped prospects incoming. Or if you get a commitment form LeBron before the draft, you shop the pick and can easily add another star.
The may not win the title this year but LeBron has a new team to help him extend his prime and tyranny of the East. I bet Boston and Toronto are shitting their pants.

I'll take it. Nice work. It's the pick we got from Memphis. Cut his damn hair though.

Man it can't hurt unless you get stupid and give him a bad contract. Maybe he can make a good backup if he remains with the team next year. Because I assume we are not trading for him with plans to make him the long term starter (or else...).JCSunsfan wrote:Noooooooooooooooooooo!
