Trump ordered to pay $83 million for defaming E. Jean Carroll after raping her.

And, predictably, the jurors are physically unsafe from Trump and his violent supporters:

Did he rape her? Because he wasn't found to have raped her. The civil suit said that he sexually assaulted her and didn't rape her.

This is just another clown show trial where a politicized and weaponized judiciary system is going after Trump from a lying grifting looney bin lady who made up her story by stealing it from a Law & Order episode, funded by coincidentally by the same Democrat Billionaire Donor who is funding Nikki Haley's campaign.

Weird thing about this is that there is more evidence that she stole this fantasy and was awarded big time for it, than actual evidence that Trump sexually assaulted her.

Always assume the woman is lying, right? And Biden has absolutely nothing to do with it. You probably believe Trump has never seen her before too.

The jury and judge said Trump fingered her vagina. Not quite rape I guess. If some guy forced himself on Melania and fingered her without her permission what would Trump’s stance be?

I don’t care about the 4000 conspiracy theories. She took him to court. He refused to testify and he lost. He was ordered to pay 5 million. He left the courtroom and on the very steps of the courthouse he spewed the same rhetoric that got him in trouble the first time as if to say screw your verdict. I will say whatever I want whenever I want to anyone I want and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

Carrol’s lawyer asked for 24 million this time anround and they gave her 83 million. If that isn’t a statement I don’t know what is. Come on Trump do it again. We know you want to.

Justice was served.

A law professor on the Fox News cable channel has said Friday's verdict is a message to Donald Trump "not just that he should stop insulting Carroll, but he has to stop disrespecting the justice system".

"The whole point of this enormous, unprecedented damages bill is to tell Donald Trump to shut up," said John Yoo, a conservative law professor at the University of California, Berkeley.

"I can't believe his lawyers haven't succeeded in telling him: campaign for president, make your accusations about a two-tiered justice system, but leave this alone," he continued.

"He has to stop repeating the same things he's said before and that he's lost on again and again."

Yoo, who once served as a lawyer for the justice department, added: "By continuing to defy the court, he's showing a fundamental disrespect for the justice system and the views of his fellow citizens, the jury."

Come on, that's a ridiculous assumption. In this case, iI don't understand how you could claim this was anything more than a fantasy by Carroll.

She doesn't know when it happened. Ok, how do you make a defense for an arbitrary & unknown date?

Now, she says it happened in 1994, and she was in her Donna Karen dress. Only problem was that Donna Karen didn't make that dress until much later. Oh, I guess that doesn't matter.

We find out she's a Law & Order fan, including reruns. They have an episode with the exact same story, which aired years before her claims came out. Did she write the episode? No

She's a huge Apprentice fan, and has some obsession with her perpetrator? That makes a lot of sense.

She exhibits extremely odd behavior and says to Anderson Cooper that rape is sexy. Of course, believe the woman that can't keep her wild story straight.

So she took a group picture with Trump. That means Trump remembers everyone he ever took a picture with? He's been a celebrity forever. S o anyone that took a picture with him can just make up b a story with an unknown date and make any claim they want? Could you imagine if that happened to you and you basically weren't allowed to make a defense, while the jury was already biased towards you?

Her whole thing gets bankrolled by an Epstein island participant and Epstein friend. Oh yeah, he found the story clearly believable or an easy way to use lawfare and slanted jury to go after Trump? Give me a break. You can't be intellectually honest enough to have some doubts?

83 million for a fraud case doesn’t make any sense, In2.

This is interesting. A judge in Illinois finds that Trump engaged in insurrection and should be disqualified from the ballot; but they leave the final execution of said decision to a higher court (?). Still trying to understand the details.

To beat Trump, we need to know why Americans keep voting for him. Psychologists may have the answer
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... republican
Many explanations are proposed for the continued rise of Donald Trump, and the steadfastness of his support, even as the outrages and criminal charges pile up. Some of these explanations are powerful. But there is one I have seen mentioned nowhere, which could, I believe, be the most important: Trump is king of the extrinsics.

Some psychologists believe our values tend to cluster around certain poles, described as “intrinsic” and “extrinsic”. People with a strong set of intrinsic values are inclined towards empathy, intimacy and self-acceptance. They tend to be open to challenge and change, interested in universal rights and equality, and protective of other people and the living world.

People at the extrinsic end of the spectrum are more attracted to prestige, status, image, fame, power and wealth. They are strongly motivated by the prospect of individual reward and praise. They are more likely to objectify and exploit other people, to behave rudely and aggressively and to dismiss social and environmental impacts. They have little interest in cooperation or community. People with a strong set of extrinsic values are more likely to suffer from frustration, dissatisfaction, stress, anxiety, anger and compulsive behaviour.

Trump exemplifies extrinsic values. From the tower bearing his name in gold letters to his gross overstatements of his wealth; from his endless ranting about “winners” and “losers” to his reported habit of cheating at golf; from his extreme objectification of women, including his own daughter, to his obsession with the size of his hands; from his rejection of public service, human rights and environmental protection to his extreme dissatisfaction and fury, undiminished even when he was president of the United States, Trump, perhaps more than any other public figure in recent history, is a walking, talking monument to extrinsic values.
