Great deal on that Brooks extension. Could have seen easily 30M per and was actually scared he would have forced 35M.

Agreed. With one notable exception, I am pretty pleased with the Suns' transactions this offseason, particularly when it comes to signing contracts and not overpaying guys based on their value.

If not for the Bridges trade I think the off-season has gone better than I could have possibly anticipated.

I agree, but it's a little "other than that, how was Dallas, Mrs. Kennedy?" for me.

The Brooks extension is better than I thought it would be, I just don't think it will age well unless he's willing to drastically change his game.

We really better not extend Bridges until we see how it looks on the floor (and how ready Sheer is to supplant him).

Bridges will almost assuredly get extended with his Spartan ties and the sunk cost. Id just hope its no more than a couple of years.

I hear you and I also hate the trade; but once it is here, there is also the chance that Bridges plays very good basketball for us. On the other hand, there is no recovering from Mr. Kennedy's lead-induced migraine. Bridges is not lacking talent for sure. Maybe the wrong type of talent considering the rest of the roster, but talent nevertheless. And sometimes, talent trumps other factors.
