Reading this thread, from start to finish, is so crazy. The swing of emotions from being in a game we had no right to be in, to dropping the game when it was in our hands, really screws with your emotions. I swear that if we had lost the game by 20 points, and the rooks played for the 4th because it was out of hand, we would all be so much less upset.

Here is Len's drive around Gasol.

Gotta say, he puts the ball on the floor really well for a 7-footer.

I think the reaction would have been different if mental mistakes hadn't played such a big role in the loss as well. This was also compounded by the fact that mental mistakes were a big part of the Spurs game, too.
I'm still upset about that IT turnover.

He is like a kid with a new toy. He needs to add some other things like going left and a back to the basket game. Wow. He is just scratching the surface. For 7-2 he is very mobile and much quicker than I thought he was.

Still have about half a season to go, but Len is easily the team's MIP. It's not even close.
I will give points to Kieff for continued improvement on offense.

It's one thing to have a "brain fart," but IT's boneheaded play is becoming the rule, rather than the exception. Too many times he plays as if it's one on five. He's rapidly approaching Shannon Brown territory.

At least Green is a SG and knows his job is to shoot. He doesn't pass much, but I don't always need passing out my SG. If the PG passes him the ball when he's open and he shoots it, I'm fine with that. To me a shot-happy PG is way more damaging to a team than a shot-happy SG because it means the PG is ignoring his primary responsibility to get other guys involved and pass the ball.

I know that Tucker had a couple of grown-man games lately, but I don't think I like him on this roster any more. He's trying to do too much too often, like bringing the ball up the court or dribbling at Marc Gasol to try to get a layup. He's committing dumb fouls and techs and not keeping his head. Plus, he seems to have some off-court problems.

I know we lost and all, but I listened to a bit of the Memphis broadcast on XM coming home from a trip this weekend. At one point the announcer had an essentially uninterrupted 90-second play by play stream as the Suns were pushing the ball after rebounds. At the first break in action he said something like, "and with the Memphis timeout I'm going to take the opportunity to get a hit of oxygen."

I still say he can play some PF for us. He's got the agility.

He can because he does. But I think that is a poor choice for the team to make.

That math is wrong. Their cap hold would have been bigger than the first year of the extension.
The cap hold is irrelevant.

Yeah, same as Antony Davis or Kevin Durant, and of course the only reason preventing us from getting them onboard is cap space... Damn you Morri!!!
Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant aren't free agents, so your point has a faulty premise.
