I literally don't know why you keep wanting me to compare this roster to last year's, when we already had something better than either of those. If only the front office had gone on vacation from summer league till training camp, we would be so much better off (Ayton, Payne, and Camara).

CP3 to Beal
Shamet to Gordon
Craig to KBD
Ross to Goodwin
Warren to Yuta
Landale to Eubanks
Biyombo to Metu
Payne to Payne
Ish to Ish
(Monty) Ayton to (Vogel) Ayton
Plus Camara

Looks way better to me.

Because I’m trying to have a conversation that doesn’t revolve around Ayton. I want to know if you just hate the Ayton move(and Payne dump) or if it’s more than that. We all know your opinion on Ayton

Those are the two moves I hate, yes. I think I've pretty much praised most of the other moves this offseason. CP3 and Shamet for Beal was one of the best deals the Suns have ever made.

You just hardly ever mention anything else. So do you just think the Ayton trade undid all the improvements we made before it?

I'm not sure if it undid all the improvements--certainly hoping we're still better than last season, but we'll have to see. I believe that, at best, it likely made the overall change a much smaller improvement than we needed to get ahead of some of the other teams.

Who are you worried about the most? Nuggets?

Nuggets losing Brown totally ruins that team to me.

I don’t think it ruins them, but they have no room for error. One injury and they are toast, they have no depth.

Either that or they need a big leap from Christian Braun

Whoa. 10 FGA in 15 min against New Zealand. DA must be loving it.

The guy does dominate against 3rd tier competition. Gotta give him credit for that.

If this thread turns into a "shit on Ayton every time he has a mediocre game for Portland" channel, we will definitely hit 200 pages.

That's really a perfect description of a typical game from him. The fact they think he was pigeonholed here as a lob/putback guy...they'll learn.

Bucks, Celtics, Nuggets, maybe Lakers.
