Injured his hand in late Nov, but was barely playing for the Mavs before that.Superbone wrote:Speaking of Noel, whatever happened to that guy?O_Gardino wrote:No thanks. He's the Nerlens Noel of point guards. He has a bit of a good rep from his draft position, and he has great physical measurements. But he can't play basketball, and he has played fewer and fewer minutes each season in the NBA. The Knicks are welcome to him.Split T wrote:Wally_West wrote:https://mobile.twitter.com/wojespn/status/961676997775773696
I wouldn't have minded acquiring Mudiay. I'm not a big fan but I'd give him a chance. Can't be worse than what we're running out at pg
That is exactly what Sarver is thinking right now, and he just might make James Jones GM this summer to bring in the King. Maybe even hire a James-friendly coach to sweeten the deal.1tinsoldier wrote:...
btw, if we scored in the draft, why wouldn't PHX be one of the possible destinations for him and another star within the next 2 years?
That would be a huge mistake. James Jones has no experience. Also can you imagine the smoking wreck Lebron would make of this team if his buddy was the GM and he could do whatever he wanted. He would trade away all our young guys and future picks for so so players that wouldn't be good enough to beat the Warriors then bail on us leaving us with another 10 years of garbage.O_Gardino wrote:That is exactly what Sarver is thinking right now, and he just might make James Jones GM this summer to bring in the King. Psst LeBron do you want to come play with Booker?O_Gardino wrote:That is exactly what Sarver is thinking right now, and he just might make James Jones GM this summer to bring in the King. Maybe even hire a James-friendly coach to sweeten the deal.1tinsoldier wrote:...

Then have to spend their picks again to unload said contracts. NYK west coast. Magic- Isiah Thomas.EDC wrote:I'm actually kinda excited that the Lakers have so much cap room this summer. I have a good feeling Magic is going to end up over paying some middle of the road guys.
Lol I would welcome Lebron any day, any time.EDC wrote:That would be a huge mistake. James Jones has no experience. Like Lebron and Paul George?EDC wrote:I'm actually kinda excited that the Lakers have so much cap room this summer. I have a good feeling Magic is going to end up over paying some middle of the road guys.
I thought Lebron wanted to win. I don't think Lebron and George get the Lakers past the Warriors.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Like Lebron and Paul George?EDC wrote:I'm actually kinda excited that the Lakers have so much cap room this summer. I know. But that hair is unwatchable.Ring_Wanted wrote:Man it can't hurt unless you get stupid and give him a bad contract. Maybe he can make a good backup if he remains with the team next year. Because I assume we are not trading for him with plans to make him the long term starter (or else...).JCSunsfan wrote:Noooooooooooooooooooo!

Wow. Waiving a lotto pick 1 1/2 years in?EDC wrote:
So down to just Skal and Bogdan for Chriss.
Pretty sure he alreaydy owns a house in LA. Lets be honest here though, none of that stuff is really doable during the NBA season, and he can spend his off-season there anyway, I don't think its a selling point anymore.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I don't know if Lebron even cares about joining an instant contender. There's a lot of reasons it might be nice for him to go to LA. Great entertainment, nightlife, things to do. Great weather. Lots of opportunities for business, acting, music, entertainment, all his various entrepreneurial desires. They'll have lots of fun. Probably won't win a title right away, but they're on the way up and will get better every year. Better owner, GM, staff, overall org. There's lots of reasons it might be nice to be in LA.
