Desmond as PF? I would rather keep Bender in that case.
Why? Dedmon is a legitimate NBA player. Bender is TBD (and that's being optimistic).
Let's give Bender another 4 or 5 seasons and see if there's any progress. Patience. He's only been in the league 3 seasons and is 21.
Haha...well, he was 2 yrs away from being 2 years away, that means the season after next season he will shine.

I could see the Lakers making a play for him if they strike out in free agency.

I hope so. I hope they take on that contract.

If the Suns go after Chris Paul I'm going to barf. That would be a disaster.
Stop over reacting. He only averages 41.3M dollars a season and he will only be 36 the final year and he only misses about a quarter of the season each year.

Geesh, this is phx-sun.net, that is what happens here. Over-reacting, hyperbole and outrage...come on get with it, Indy. BTW, I don't blame Marty, as I feel the same way.

I would be delighted to see the Lakers get Chris Paul. This would doom them for the next 2-3 years to be a fringe playoff team that gets bounced in the first round. I would l-o-v-e it.

Bringing Randle in would get me legitimately excited. He's got a PO for 9mil so he'd have to opt out.

We’d have to create some more space as we could only offer a 10.1 million starting salary.

Him and a competent PG and I'd be through the moon.

Sign and trade send Warren or Jackson to NO.

He's not a great fit with Ayton on either side of the ball, but he's a legitimately good player and fits a position of need, so I'm in favor as well.

I did think it was interesting how Bender outplayed him in their last matchup after Randle crushed Bender last season.

If our starting lineup is ____/Booker/Oubre/Randle/Ayton, then _____ really needs to be able to shoot from deep. And defend.

Rather keep Bender. Awful fit even if I like him as a player. We have to run 4 out I think like Orlando did with Howard. We need shooters not paint cloggers. I have a feeling with Jones comments recently we may be looking at building a traditional half court team though.

Do you mean the game Randle had 31/14? Bender did have a great game, but so did Randle.

Randle shot 34% from 3 last year
