I really really want them to actually draft and keep a player. Or, heck, buy / acquire a pick or two and draft MORE than one player. This is exactly the kind of draft where a couple of random guys drafted late are going to be big role players for good teams. I hope we don't piss that away and trade the pick for some washed up scrub.

We'll know in less than two weeks. Although, we thought we had one last year until he was later traded.

I was hesitant to post it because I honestly can't tell if it's a true story or some joke/parody/satire but if it's true it does give some insight into a guy's personality that we don't regularly have. That's something coaches, scouts, execs take into account and try to get a feel for with research and interviews - can/will this guy fit in with the rest of the group. Never got the feeling Stix really fit in personality wise with the roster when he was drafted and that can make a big difference. Things have changed now obviously so maybe it wouldn't matter.

Now I picture him running around, orchestrating the offense, effortlessly seeing KD in the corner for a wide open 3, all while muttering, "20 minutes to Wapner, gotta see Wapner, ..."

I really like this draft with these players in the late first and early 2nd round. I wish they’d give up the 22nd for Utah’s 29th and 32nd or Minny’s 27th and 37th picks. Otherwise at least draft and keep the 22nd.

Ya I want us to trade with Minny or Utah too…I’d even trade with Portland(for 34/40) if they also included future assets.

Nice. He wasn't on my radar, but now that I see him I like him. Could be a great fit. Would Jones/Ishbia draft an international player?

The wildest part about it is the list of high level iq players. If we poled hoops fans for the top 4 bball iqs in recent memory, how many would give us Paul + Rondo + Ginobili + Diaw?

Because he'll be gone at 17 or whenever the Lakers pick 😆

It sounds like the Lakers are going to take one of the centers to play next to AD. I have a buddy that's a huge Laker's fan and does a Lakers podcast on Youtube. He thinks that the Lakers need to part ways with LeBron. He says that they need a fresh start from that.

I'd guess it's because AD refuses to play 5 because he might sprain his vagina trying to guard Jokic.

I like the assertion that a draft pick can't be a win-now piece.
