I'd look to trade up for Mario, as well.

I hope this FO decides to be bold this offseason. I hope they trade Bled in order to give this team a makeover.

The twins are downright painful to watch, but they're unlikely to move. I just don't want to watch them play.

Trade for David Lee and add a young PF. Tell the twins to stay home.

I used to advocate for Lee as well but he makes quite a lot of money. Plus he just might not have it anymore. He can't get on the floor. That injury may have been more severe than I thought.

Not sure why we bother testing running as our rookies don't do much of that, we just sit them on the bench.
It's to see how much fight and effort they give. Not really about how fast they are. That's straight from McDonaceck.

I figure - he's only on the books for a year (so we can be FA players in 2016, still), he's demonstrated great veteran poise sitting on the bench and being a good teammate during GSW's finals run, and he's had a year of rest. I'm not advocating him as a long-term solution, but as a guy who can help get the club back on its feet.

... We haven't heard a peep about the Morris twins, from anyone, in any capacity, for a month. Truly curious as to the consequences of all this. What would happen if they were RFA's this offseason, rather than under contract?

There's no way they'd get that $52M with their legal troubles hanging over their heads.

Miracle draft for the Suns: Willie Cauley-Stein or Justise Winslow. If one of those falls, or we are able to trade up to get one, I would be elated.

WCS: Much better shooter than anyone realized because Calipari just did not let him shoot outside. Reminds me of the situation with Channing Frye. Early on no one knew he had a decent three point shot. Willie is a premiere defender and many believe he has the quickness to guard NBA wings. That defensive versatility. He is also a decent rebounder. One writer said of him,
On defense, he may be the best perimeter-defending big man that has entered the NBA draft, as he's probably going to be athletic enough to guard anyone 3-5 on the next level

I would trade up to get him. He has the potential to be the best player in this draft.

We have already talked about Winslow.

Good draft for the Suns: Kaminsky or Looney. I think both of those players have the skills and versatility to have a long NBA career.

Dark horse: Hollis-Jefferson. If he could shoot, he would be a top 8 player. Some players can learn to shoot, some can't. He would be another Archie Griffin type project. I don't know if I want another one of those.

I don't get the fascination with Kaminsky. I wouldn't take him at 13 if he was still available.

Agreed. Definitely wouldn't take him. WCS could be Tyson Chandler with better offense. He was kind of an afterthought with Towns brought it but he could be a beast defensively.

WCS reminds me of Scott Pollard, but I like him a lot too. If he falls to 13, I wouldn't hesitate.

WCS can't be compared to Scot Pollard. They're different colors.

What? j/k lol

One went to KU, the other played high school basketball in KS, but went to UK. Does he not remind anyone else here of Scott Pollard?

I think hes a much better athlete than Pollard, but as far as both being defense based wacky dudes, I could see a similarity.

WCS seems more mobile than Pollard, with the latter essentially a back-up center. Pollard did lead the NBA for about a decade for ninja/samurai hair cuts and varying facial hair patterns...

Definitely an underrated category on the entertainment scale.

He did commentary on the NBA cable network for awhile. Funny guy.
I remember he pissed off Cheryl Miller one time; I think she was hosting a show and he showed up a couple of minutes late.

His pregame routine was to paint his own toenails. This is how he calmed down. I thought he was going to be working in a nail salon after his career was over.

NBA could use a few characters. And not just guys who get technicals.
Players who view the world a bit differently.

I always thought Scott Pollard looked like he was auditioning to be an extra in The Road Warrior.

So. Here is some high school film of WCS. Its not what you think.
