Ayton is going to be so frustrated playing on that Portland team. Two FGA through 3+ quarters
I can already hear it now, “they aren’t making Ayton the center piece of the offense”.

Ya I do feel good about my bet with Jeremy…there’s no way Ayton leads this team in scoring. He’s not gonna get the shots
The Bohemian 4 pointer doesn’t strike fear into you?

Also, I don’t think Chauncey is a good coach, so that’s not going to do Ayton any favors as well.

Is anyone else hate watching Portland?
Hate watching? No. It’s interesting that they’re playing Williams and Ayton together. After watching the first half, I can safely say I’m at peace with the trade though. I’ve seen enough.
It's time for a new edition of "Traaaade or noooo trade?????
Oct 7 Would you have done the Ayton trade?
Yes 50% No 50%
Oct 17 How does our roster compare before and after our most recent trade?
Downgraded + About the Same (No trade) 12% +12%
Upgraded (Out with Bruised ribs) 77%
Oct 27 Are you glad the Suns didn't have to send Portland extra compensation?
(Not actually proposing a Poll thread, neither to run it here either, and Hell NO in trying to contribute into getting this thing to 200, it's just plain fun posting)

Through one game:
Nurk: 28 min, 14p/14r/3a/0s/1b, 1t/5f, 5-8 FG, +2
Domin: 23 min, 4p/12r/1a/3s/1b, 3t/5f, 2-4 FG, -5
That’s enough of a sample size, right? Debate over.

Even if they fed him the ball he'd just jab step into 6 jump shots and maybe hit half of them.
So many people failed to accept how much the Suns catered to getting him involved and he still didn't DOMINAYTON nearly enough.

I don’t understand this criticism. Is the idea that the injury was bogus, or that he should be able to play basketball with the injury?

Comparisons of the starting centers tonight in Blazers at Clippers:
Zubac 20 pts, 12 reb, 0 assists, 0 steals, 4 blocks, 2 TO, 8-10 from field, 4-5 FTs
Ayton 04 pts, 12 reb, 1 assists, 3 steals, 1 blocks, 3 TO, 2-4 from field, 0-0 FTs

Not properly “should be”, but bruised ribs, although not ideal, is not incapacitating either, specially considering that it was an elimination game, with teammates already banged up doing their best to stay on the court and keeping their playoffs chances alive.
Giving it a go and leaving the game would have been a better image, sitting out entirely basically buried the Suns’ chances and it wouldn’t surprise if someday we found out explicitly from one of the survivors from the purge, that this was where the camel’s back broke.

Why won't Monty get Ayton the ball for Portland?!

Zubac always gives DA trouble so nothing surprising there. Happened in the playoffs a bunch. 4 shots is a joke for a max player they traded for who was supposed to solidify the offense but again, given the roster and ball dominant, ISO perimeter players it's not surprising. DA and Williams won't work as a frontcourt and it's probably only a matter of time until Billups realizes Williams is the best fit at center with that group (if he hasn't already). Not a great situation for DA.

1000% my sentiments. It will be KD breaking it at some point…. Ayton will run his mouth on something and KD will put him in his place.

I’m sure we’ll hear about how those 3 steals were the most amazing steals and are the starting point of his DPOY campaign.

Yep, y'all are still obsessed with him. Even bringing back "SlamDunkleyKong" from Reddit I see.
