ok. Season is over . Said i will run the lotto machine once and that is it. So, this is how it turned out.

#1 to Suns. Draft Simmons.

#13 Labisierre.

Um. Ok. I will go with that. :D Could end up being the best two players in the draft.

Oh, and to make it even better, the Lakers lose their pick.

Please, please, please make this happen.

Any thoughts on Labisierre? Calipari had him playing out of position, and admitted such. He is a stretch 4, and maybe a stretch 5 for short minutes during small ball. He could be there at 13.

I wouldn't take him. He was absolutely terrible this year.

The highlights of his best game of the season were essentially him hitting long jumpers and open dunks. Wasn't a lot to go by there. Seemed to very highly regarded prior to college.

We pick #5 almost every time. We have a 12% chance at #1.

Agree.

Averaged 3 fouls per his 15mpg. Just awful, he's a million years away.

Now here is a list of wings, delicious wings:

SF is not necessarily a position of need and I don't know that much about many of these prospects.
Does anyone have much insight?

Simmons and Ingram are the consensus top 2 picks. Valentine intrigues me as a mid pick, Jaylen Brown scares the shit out of me as a high pick.

Potential 1st Rounders:
Ben Simmons
Brandon Ingram
Jaylen Brown
Denzel Valentine
Taurean Prince

Potential 2nd Rounders:
Daniel Hamilton
Timothe Luwawu
DeAndre Bembry
Michael Gbinije
Jaron Blossomgame
James Webb

Danuel House

Dorian Finney-Smith
Rade Zagorac

I would be very happy if we get Valentine at the Wizards' pick.

Many do share that opinion here. You just know the spurs are going to find a way to get him.

Has anyone watched much of Michael Gbinije?

Was originally at Duke but later transferred out. Listed as a 6'7 sg/sf but seems to have played some pg. Seems to have solid handles but there is not one highlight of him getting an assist. Appears to have a decent all round game in terms of can shoot and finish also. Kind of a poor mans Valentine with less bball IQ and feel for the game but more athletic.

So Thon Maker is now starting to appear in mocks. nbadraft.net has us taking him at 28

I don't see that happening though I'm willing to guarantee that #28 is either traded or a draft-and-stash.

Thon Maker is essentially a draft and stash. he is incredibly raw and should really go to college. Would be a lock to play a lot of D league.

Can we stash him in the d league for 2 years? I'd be ok taking maker at 28 or 33, but not 13. I wouldn't be all that excited about it though.

I saw Gbinije in the final four... hardly a scouting report obviously. He doesn't seem to be much of a scorer, reminds me a bit of a Sefolasha, but I don't think he's coming out with the same amount of hype as a defensive stopper? I'm completely talking out of my ass here...

If we end up not getting the first or second pick then I am down to trade down or trade for future assets. I think both Simmons and Ingram will be great but there is a big drop off after them.
