I don't much like +/-, but our starters all have a positive +/- and our bench, especially Knight and Barbosa, have a hugely negative one.

Booker just had a real nice play. One of those plays that shows he has an elite "feel" for the game.
He was driving baseline and Murray poked the ball away from him. Book goes back to get it, rises up and drops in a little 16ft jumper. He didn't have to look around - he knew where everyone was on the floor, and he still had his head in the play even after losing the ball. He just saw that he had space and rose up and shot.

The ball didn't go flying into the air? Thought they didn't call those anymore?
I see a lot of players do that.
That was great D by Len.

The starters played the entire 3rd last game as well. Dunno why he's been doing that.
huh. So our bench can sink the 4th?
Well, that's a rookie coach with lot of mediocre players trying things out.

Tucker and Chandler are going to end up playing 40 minutes each. This is a fireable offense to me with Watson. Not only is he not playing the young guys, but in this case the young guys are the players who will actually give us a better chance to win. Double negative.
He's got an unbreakable erection for Chandler and Tucker

Bledsoe needed to slow down there. He just never gave the bigs time to screen properly.

This team is so far from being any good. They don't know how to run a play or read each other at all.

We really are bad at so many things.
I just wonder how many more losses it will take before the front office does something. Hopefully it ends with us playing like we did the 2nd half of last season. Nothing but the young guys playing all the minutes.

Reading some other forums and people really hate Len. Do they just not see how well he can defend the paint? In that fourth quarter he did a great job on defense.
He isn't perfect but he will only get better. Thankfully I think McD has no intention of getting rid of Len.

It was a good game for Len and Booker.
It's frustrating watching the Vets rack up so many minutes so that we can almost keep up with Denver. Uhg.
But I'm strangely relieved that we didn't pull out a win.

OK, normally I'd agree with you, but both played fairly well today.
Actually, Tucker had his best game of the season, scoring well and not be an offensive cypher that he often is.

Booker and Bledsoe each had 30 points tonight. That's ... something, at least.

We didn't lose this game on the offensive side. We lost because he gave up 120 points to the Nuggets. Tucker is so overrated on defense it's ridiculous. Especially at the 3. And chandler never runs back hard on D. He's got a permanent nice jog going.

Re: Vets playing, this game it was warranted, somewhat. Chriss, to be polite, had a bad game.
The rookies who played were on the same unit with ball-stopper Knight, who had an absolutely terrible game.
You may as well expect a Alaskan Brown Bear to give up a fresh salmon before Knight gives up the ball.
Watson really needs to address this. It's stunting the growth of guys like Bender and Ulis.

There's no situation in which playing Tucker is a net positive over Bender. Bender is our future, and is already a better on ball defender.

The Suns made their third-quarter run with Chandler, Len and Tucker on the floor.
Like I said earlier, it's not a unit I'd usually endorse, but it worked this game.
And Chriss was awful today, so there was nobody else to play the "3" spot.
