I am talking about Booker. Truth is I don't care about Bledsoe and/or Knight.

Ulis and Bender also seem like Mike D's type of players.

Mike D wouldn't be good for our defense, and it's unclear if he could run his kind of offense with the lack of ball movement and shooting on this roster. There's no Harden here in Phoenix.

Despite all of that, I'd much, much rather have Mike D right now than Earl "high five" Watson as our coach. I would also have preferred Thibs, a Van Gundy, or almost anybody.

MikeD wasn't exactly a miracle worker in this case, taking a guy like Patrick Beverly and getting him to average 12 apg. To MikeD's credit, he put the ball in Harden's hands and tweaked the starting lineup around him.

At the same time, I don't think MikeD would've/could've done much with Bledsoe and/or Knight.
This. Harden has a high BBIQ, those 2 dont.
Love, Hurts.

It's not like our defense would be any worse...

The thing with Mike is, he just won't play guys who don't play the right way. Knight would move the ball or he would sit. It's that simple.

ShelC wrote:Well first off, he's only 21. We can't write guys off at 21. He's 6-8 with elite athleticism, effortless 3pt stroke and good ball handling ability with a pretty high bball IQ. Consider how none of the recent young players on the Magic have really developed....Elfrid Payton is now on the bench and Aaron Gordon has been largely ineffective and still can't shoot. As much as we like TJ, I think you need a SF who can hit the 3 and TJ just isn't a shooter. He's scorer. That's fine for the bench but limits our spacing with the starters. Check out some highlights from last year, you'll like what you see.
OK, teach. I did my homework, and yeah, the highlights are pretty high. He can shoot, dunk, create off the dribble, run the break, and there are some sweet passes mixed in. I was mostly impressed with his aggressiveness. He seemed to play with a chip on his shoulder. I didn't see any lowlights collections of his bloopers, and Google doesn't auto-fill 'Mario Hezonia Sha...'

So, yeah, I'd give the kid a chance. 2 Players and a pick might be too steep for a player who is currently playing like garbage, though. Maybe we could trade potential for potential and swap Chriss for him.
