K. Caldwell-Pope always sneaks up on me. I always forget he exists, then we play the Pistons and he gets 20+ on us.

Nets- 13-56
Lakers - 20-49 (playing Cleveland tonight)
Suns - 22-48
Magic - 25-45
76ers - 26-43
I think the Suns have the inside track on the 3rd worst record (the loss to the Magic the other night was huge). They'll have a hard time "catching" the Lakers though.

Yeah, looking like 3rd worst for us. For once, give us the number 1 pick or at least don't move us down to 4 or 5.

It's hard work trying to keep up with the Lakers.

Lakers remaining games [9 home, 4 away] - CLE, LAC, POR, MIN, WAS, @MIN, @LAC, MEM, @SAS, SAC, MIN, NOP, @GSW
Suns remaining games [5 home, 7 road] - @MIA, @BRK, @BOS, @CHA, @ATL, LAC, @POR, HOU, GSW, OKC, DAL, @SAC
I think the Suns win maybe two games at best (from among the Brooklyn, Dallas and Sacramento games) which would put them at 24-58
The Lakers might win three since they have an easier schedule remaining, which would put them at 23-59. So we have to hope they beat Minnesota twice, the Kings and the Pelicans. Or maybe the Suns will drop their last 12.

If the Suns lose all 12 remaining games and go 22-60, the Lakers would have to go 2-11 to finish tied, 1-12 to clinch the worst record.

Ya, I think we finish 3rd. I was worried Orlando might catch us, but the loss to them the other night was huge. They also play Brooklyn two more times. 76ers, kings, and knicks all are too far away, I'm not concerned with them at all anymore. Doubt we catch the lakers unless we lose out. I don't see the lakers winning more than 2

Tank is looking good. Don't see any way we win more than 1. I feel the same about the Lakers though.
Any real benefit to having Knight even travel with the team if the story about refusing to go in is true?

I love Fultz and would love #1, but if we don't get him, I'd be pretty happy with any spot in the top 4. I think there's a drop-off at 5.

We're definitely gonna beat Brooklyn, no doubt about that unfortunately. We can beat them without even Booker.
And then from the games against CHA, Dallas and Sacramento, we will win at least one as well. Dallas may be eliminated from playoff contention by then so they may rest Dirk the final couple of games too.

Top three in the draft is the key. Fultz, Ball, Jackson. Big drop off after that.

If we finish 3rd in the tank standings, which looks likely. We'll have a 46.9% chance at a top 3 pick. 22.6% chance at picking 4th, and 26.5% chance at picking 5th. 4% chance at picking 6th. Those numbers go up to 55.8% chance at top 3 if we catch lakers for #2. 32% chance at 4 and 12% chance at 5. If we tie the lakers, we split the averages, so just over 50% chance at a top 3 pick.
Since 2005, the number 3 spot/2 spot has picked:
1st: 2 times/0 times
2nd: 0 times/2 times
3rd: 4 times/2 times
4th: 2 times/6 times
5th: 3 times/2 times
6th: 1 time/0 times
