Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Not at all interested in Kyrie. His numbers are inflated playing next to lebron. If we give up any of our young core, it is a major step back.

While I would love to have Kyrie, this one works for me too. A guard rotation of Fox, Bledsoe, Ulis, and Reed would be a ball to watch.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Fox to Phoenix, Bledsoe to Cleveland, Irving to Sacramento.Split T wrote:Sacramento was mentioned as someone interested in Kyrie with Fox being their bait. I don't see Irving turning us into a serious contender and he is only hear for two years than we'll see.
I'd do Bledsoe, Chriss, and Miami pick. I think that is worth the risk but, I'd prefer to be the 3rd team as others have pointed out bringing both Bled and Chandler to the table. Booker/Jackson.our own picks all have to stay. I have no idea how Fox's name is getting thrown into this, but yea if we had a shot to get him I'm absolutely doing it.
Thanks for the erection.

Yes. Yes, that is exactly what they say.Superbone wrote:So he's never seen a picture of the earth from space? How do they get around that? Well, I don't know what to say. But it does raise red flags about Irving's intelligence. Or at the very least, his gullability.n4th4n wrote:Yes. We've seen already in JJ what we have only imagined with Chriss and Bender, imposible that the FO have not seen it too. Hopefully, he is for real out of limits.
Now, that Fox-Bledsoe-Irving swap sounds great, how would you guys would balance it?

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
I'm not a huge fan of Kyrie, but his number are very similar to what they were as a rookie with no Lebron. If Lebron has affected his numbers, it's to keep them down because Kyrie doesn't run the offense like he otherwise would. And let's be honest - it's not really about the numbers with Kyrie. It's the crazy clutch scoring.In2ition wrote:Agreedsose wrote:Not at all interested in Kyrie. His numbers are inflated playing next to lebron. I did some googling on this and I think you might be on to something. I'll have to do quite a bit more extensive research!1tinsoldier wrote:thank you for waking me up to another way of looking at thingsO_Gardino wrote:A 2 dimensional plane only has 2 surfaces - the top and bottom. Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
I'm glad for this. I recognize that Kyrie is a legit star, and that Jackson is an unproven rookie, but I guess all these years of rooting against Kyrie and the Cavs has affected me. I just don't want Kyrie, even though I think he's a stud. I want our guys + a distributing PG. I'd be thrilled with Fox or Frank, partly because they aren't the enemy yet.Split T wrote:https://twitter.com/Gambo987/status/889955685873598465

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
I feel like I must be crazy or something. You guys really wouldn't give up an unproven rookie who can't shoot for an All-Star who's got a ring, single-handedly won Finals games for his team, and is a threat to go off for 30+ every night? Who is 25 years old, on a very reasonable contract for 2-3 more years, and is looking for a new situation? One of probably the top 10-12 players in the NBA, the kind of player who is rarely gettable in a trade?

Singlehandedly won finals games is a far reach. The data shows that he's not that good without Lebron.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I feel like I must be crazy or something. I don't think he's a top 12 NBA player either. His skills also don't mesh too well with our future star, and by the time our team peak he may be out of here.
If he's willing to get out of the team that's been in the finals the last 2 years, what he'll do when the Suns realize they can't win with him being 1A?

This is reassuring:
Suns inform Josh Jackson he will not be part of any Kyrie Irving trade
