Interesting fact, Chriss is one of 3 Suns players with a positive defensive box plus minus right now. Jones Jr and Bender are the other two.
That is incredible!
Ya, I'm not exactly sure how that statistic is determined, but it is interesting. Chriss makes some good defensive plays(steals and blocks) but he's often out of position and gets fooled easily.
That stat is BS. The eye test shows he's a crap defender.

He's like a fancy Cuttino Mobley.

Probably true.
What does this mean? Box Plus/Minus is good at measuring offense and solid overall, but the defensive numbers in particular should not be considered definitive. Look at the defensive values as a guide, but don't hesitate to discount them when a player is well known as a good or bad defender

Gotta admit, I hated James in the SL because I thought he was just a hero ball guy, but he's played pretty well.

Suns on a nice little mini-run to start the 3rd quarter. Up 68-59.

Ya know if we could somehow combine Chriss and Bender into 1 player we'd have a nice prospect.

I know some people love RHJ because he's an Arizona guy, but man he's is atrocious offensively. Like if the NBA was an offensive only league, he wouldn't even make the G-league.

He can't shoot, but he's not atrocious. He's a pretty good finisher and can put his head down and get to the hoop.

The thing is he finds way to scores with his unorthodox stuff and I'm often puzzled

Booker was on fire, now he's not.

Booker was hot, Josh Jackson and co started taking bad shots, Booker cooled off, we suck if he's not on.

Everyone wanted to be the hero. Very little off ball movement.
