No idea what the Bledsoe thing is talking about, but Warren has the poison pill restriction because of his extension. If we were to trade him this year, his salary for trading purposes would be an average of his extension contract and his current contract. So (48+3)/5. Puts his average for the next 5 years at 10 million. So the receiving team would treat him like his contract is worth 10 million while we treat him like it's worth 3 million. Just makes him difficult to trade. Although with how much cap space we have, we could still do it easily.

Talking about Bledsoe's $14.5M salary as if it's relevant to the Suns is strange enough. Saying it "can't be aggregated until Jan. 7" in an article published on Jan. 12 makes it doubly so.

In the writers defense, it is just an update from a previously written article. Still, you would expect more, especially in an article people are paying for.

They certainly don't need another point guard on the regular roster. They run 5 already.

Heard a "fun fact" on the Pels Knicks highlights, that this is the first time in the careers of both Davis and Cousins that their team is above .500 half way though the season. Niether player has ever had a winning team at this point.
