Part of the problem is player development, which has to be shared between the team and the players (Bender, Chriss & Ulis). Some of it is game-by-game preparation which falls on the players and coaches.

For instance, I don't like how the coaching staff uses Bender and Chriss mainly as perimeter shooters without emphasizing the development of a post game. On the other hand, you have to lay a good amount of the blame on Bender (for being much to passive offensively) and Chriss (for exhibiting a low basketball IQ a lot of the time).

We should be seeing these three making some improvement (like we have with Booker, Warren, Len and Jackson to differing degrees).

Agreed

I surely do not like some of the shots that Josh throws up but I love his agressiveness. The shot will improve and I see him as part of our future as well as both Booker and Warren. I have my doubts in regards to evereyone else on this roster.

It really is criminal that we did not acquire some veteran point guard to steer this ship on the court after McDonough dumped Bledsoe.

Ulis is truley useless and Caanan is not much better. Ulis's PER is 9.13 which ranks him 71st amongst PG's. That means virtually every 2nd string PG is better than he is.

Just another note a lot of folks wanted us to draft Fox he is #63 10.44

Another poor move by McDonough.

This is McDonough's team and coach. The only place to put blame is in the mirror Ryan.

Josh Jackson is on quite a roll this month. He’s been a pleasant bright spot in an otherwise horrendous stretch.

His athleticism really stands out against the rest of the team. We're still not all that athletic despite being young. Booker isn't really a high flyer, neither is Bender and as much as people talk up Chriss I've just never seen it. Josh has that bounce tho and when he's driving with the ball, I don't think there are many who can stay with him. He's a nice dribble drive threat for us and we should be setting him up more for those opportunities.

And I do agree we're wasting Bender and Chriss. Bender and Chriss just hang on the perimeter and even when Chriss gets closer to the basket he usually ends up fading away on his shot.

I've read that some are confused and not happy with how Knicks are using(developing) Frank. Since his G-League call up Trey Burke seems to be playing more than him most nights and even in the blowout last night he didn't see the court much

I was driving with my family and missed the whole game. Can't say I'm sorry. Give me the quick breakdown: how much weight did Chriss put on in his time off?

Its just really hard to develop this many young players. I would take Trae, but a quality real pg like Conley would be really good for this team.

Did Daniels lose his streak of games off the bench with a 3 pointer since he started?

Booker up to 51 straight makes from the free throw line. His field goal shooting has gone into a slump, but he's about to set the franchise record for consecutive makes from the line.

He's 2/3rds of the way there -

Steve Nash, 74 straight, 6Apr07 to 30Nov07
Mike Bratz, 57 straight, 12Jan80 to 2Mar80
Kevin Johnson, 57 straight, 27Jan89 to 9Feb89
Devin Booker, 51 straight, 7Jan18 to date
Isaiah Thomas, 50 straight, 9Nov14-12Dec14

Too bad Conley is out for the season with surgery.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of the FT streak until last night.

Daniels made three 3s last night. But yeah, not off the bench obviously since he started. The Suns as a team made 11. I don't see how we don't get the all-time team 3 point streak and I also don't see it ending anytime soon.

I guess he's close to most consecutive in the same season. 57 is the number to beat for that. Nash did his 74 straight over two seasons. Booker has a ways to go for that one.

The longest streak this year is 54 by Stephen Curry I believe. Courtney Lee had a streak of 52 and James Harden had a streak of 50.

The malaise continues. The Suns woke up once Booker got ejected. That tells you they aren't coming in focused and aren't bringing the energy. The announcers mentioned that they wanted to fight each other the day before in practice. Yet they come out and let other teams punch them in the mouth so to speak and don't seem to blink. See: coaching.

McDo better be on the phone with New Orleans to ship Monroe there ASAP. That's such an obvious deal that needs done.

Wish we would have grabbed Trey Burke instead of Mike James or Isiah Canaan. He's killing people.

Another gross game. Can't wait for Houston Sunday

I'll give Jackson props on showing energy and not playing down to the level of his teammates.

The all purple on the Los Suns uniform is actually really dope.

Agreed. I love that look. It would be nice to have a regular Suns uniform like that.

I like the purple better than the blue, but the ridiculous LOSSUNS thing is the same in both and has to go.

What is even the point in 2018's NBA of having big men? If you are going to have a gangly awkward 7-footer out there who just camps at the line shooting 3s anyway, why not just go full 2007-08 Warriors and just start 5 guards/swingmen? Why not just have lineups with 5 fast good shooters?

Uh, rebounding and rim protection?
