took a nap so I can watch all this 11:30 start tonight. I haven't read the article yet but I find that "market" thing hard to believe, is this just another Suns $#@! Up ?Superbone wrote:Doing him a favor. There was no market. Most likely going to the Pelicans in wake of the Cousins injury.

Why wouldn't they wait 8 days before the deadline if they thought they could make a deal?bajanguy008 wrote:took a nap so I can watch all this 11:30 start tonight. And now it looks like the Suns will have 2 roster spots open now...unbelievable.carey wrote:That's so f*** stupid. You do the buyout AFTER the trade deadline unless you need a roster spot for a trade right away.

Yeah, I don't see him coming back again, there will be multiple pgs in the 2nd round better than him this year. Poor guy.carey wrote:Canaan?In2ition wrote:

You mean we wouldn't be able to sign Avery Bradley? Heaven forfend!Flagrant Fowl wrote:A bit of an over reaction in regard to Monroe by many folks.
He’s never been a part of any long-term plan for us, and making a deal to match his salary would be a bad move because it would likely put more money on the cap for future seasons.
Seriously. Fans overvaluing our assets. Archie, DJJ, Monroe, etc. nobody is giving anything up for these players. There’s a reason he’s been on our roster thus far and a reason it took so long for MIL to trade him despite 2 years of rumorsFlagrant Fowl wrote:A bit of an over reaction in regard to Monroe by many folks.

The FO treated him well, and that’s something we haven’t had a reputation of doing so much in recent years.
