Well. I can't dunk. But I am quick! And just plain terrible... But I can climb V8/5.13 if anyone is impressed by that!

I used to be 5' 10.5" but these days I'm closer to 5' 9". Getting old sucks!

That article is actually pretty concerning if he is dealing with personal/emotional issues. If that's the case I hope the Suns are aware and working to do something. I've been critical of Chriss from the start because I've always felt he's more athlete than basketball player and that might be coming to light right now. The whole thing about time to himself" during the break almost sounds like burnout or depression. Hate to speculate that way but you just never know. He talks about a lot of stuff going on, trying to persevere...maybe he's just down about his PT and being coached hard by Triano and not babied by Watson. But we know he's shown signs of immaturity, he came into camp out of shape, his effort and focus comes and goes...could just be a 20 year old trying to figure it out.

A more positive spin on it would be, he's really young, he hasn't really fully grown up and become a responsible adult man yet. Maybe in a year or two once he figures some things out, he'll get his head right and start becoming more disciplined and consistent as a player. It's easy to forget how young these guys are and how little life experience they really have.

You guys are running out of years to use that as an excuse for his shitty play and worse attitude....almost 2 years in the league and counting......

You make it seem like 20 year olds don’t routinely come into this league and do alright. We have the first ever young guys.

20 year olds also routinely come into this league and struggle with adjusting in their first couple years

False hope is at play here because he’s a Sun. He hasn’t progressed one bit mentally or physically. In fact, he’s regressed.

I don't think there's anyone still thinking he's a future star. Doesn't mean we have to completely give up on him.

I think Chriss can improve, I just don't think it will be worth the time, effort, and roster spot.

Don't get me wrong; I am not a huge Chriss defender. I have to admit that I have a trigger about headcase or bad-attitude players. Don't like 'em, particularly if their play cannot back it up. I'll tolerate it if it's a big star like Boogie, or a crucial role player on a title team like Draymond Green. But if it's some overly entitled young guy who hasn't really done anything in the NBA, like Chriss? I have a slim amount of patience. I never really bought into the Chriss hype in the first place and have always consistently preferred Bender as our young PF to try to grow into the position. I don't really think we need Chriss, and like INF I don't think he is worth the effort and time and roster spot (that is well said by INFy). I would be fine with Chriss being gone after this year if we can get any kind of asset back for him, or for a bundle of assets including him.

Some guy named Stoudemire came into the league early, with a lot of personal baggage.
I recall that he seemed to do quite well and improved every year, early on ...

Earl coddled the heck out of Chriss and the upshot is he came back out of shape and entitled.

Payton is listed as 6' 3" or 6' 4" depending on the source. Booker is 6' 6" or 6' 7" and it does look like a 2 inch difference to me if you take away the afro.

It's hard to tell where Payton's head ends and the hair begins, but their eyes look to be about the same level.

If I were TJ Warren, I would be a bit annoyed that I'm not shown in that lineup. Arguably he deserves a starting forward spot more than Jackson and Bender do.

I spent way too long trying to figure out who R. ___ic was. Before realizing the arm in the thumbnail belonged to Ayton.

Dusan Ristic. He's been playing pretty well for UofA actually. May get drafted.

I wouldn’t. Can’t be a one trick pony who’s only skill is to score in the lane and expect to start in todays league . Josh has a chance to be a much more complete player. There’s a lot more to this game than PPG and the sooner he realizes that the better player he can become. Or he can get used to being thought of as a sixth man in the Crawford/Clarkson/Williams/Corey Maggete mold

It really does.
When you lack skill AND the right attitude, that’s a recipe for disaster.

If you lack skill but work hard and the right way, there can be growth.

If you’re incredibly talented but a headcase, there can be growth (see Jermaine O’Neal, Cousins, Randolph)

If you lack both, you’re destined for Europe/G-League/a segment of “Where are they now”

Chriss isn't devoid of skill, but I'm not going to argue this, you've clearly got your mind made up
