Hum. He can shoot. Makes 36% on 6 attempts per game. Was a 22 year old this season, which doesn't need to be a bad thing when you see his polished footwork and array of moves to put up a shot. And on defense he definitely uses his length (almost 9 rebounds, 2 blocks).
He is all over the place. Some mocks have him last 1/3 of the first round. Others make him an early 2ndR.
I'm interested at 31, there will be better prospects on the board at 16
I didn't expect us to add 4 rookies this year. You did?
I mean, if you like what you have on the roster better than what's available, then fine. But given that he says this every year and half of the team is still dead weight, and last year he went through half the g-league looking for guards, why not just look for players you can use?

What are the odds there’s someone on the board at 59 we’re confident can make the team under current circumstances? Better to use it on a draft-and-stash than on somebody you end up cutting before November.
Did ya'll catch the Game of Zones with the Zan Gundy monks? They took a vow of no-silence and sing a rant about the refs and Dwight Howard ruining the NBA.

Even though it was never a real possibility, I'm so relieved that we didn't end up with JVG as our coach.

Melton and Shamet could be options at 31. The other Arizona guys also there. Not a big fan of either Trier or Alkins, but I'd take them at 59

Trier is going to go before 59 and I think Melton goes before 31. Maybe Shamet too.

You're probably right, I think Alkins will go before 59 too. I just wouldn't take Melton and Shamet at 16 or Trier and Alkins at 31. Melton is a maybe at 16, but he better show a much improved shot.

I might take Melton at 16, I like him much more than Troy Brown who has been mocked in and around our area.

I like Brown better because I think he'll be more versatile defensively, although Melton could be pretty special defensively and might prove to be, like Marcus Smart, a PG that can defend some bigs.
I don't trust either of their shots based on the last time we saw them on the court and I think that's my top criteria for 16.

Is that Booker near the beginning?
