Kevin Durant is coming to Phoenix. Book it.
So then we have to stay pat here this season by not taking on any contracts? I can't believe Durant would sign for anything less than the max he can get, on a 1 and 1 deal. So like 65M split across two seasons. I think we have to stretch Anderson and still not sign anyone to have that kind of room.

I think you definitely need to stretch Anderson, and I think that's the plan, unless he's able to be included for a good deal somewhere.

Nobody wants the guy. I expect us to stretch him too, which is why we got him to reduce his salary guarantee.

SO I was looking at our 5-man lineups and found some of this interesting.
* We only have 8 five-man lineups that we have used for at least 15 total minutes this year.
* Of those 8, all but 2 have a positive +/-
* But the most common (by far with 99:30 total minutes this year) is a -30.8 points/100 possessions.
* That line up is our normal starting lineup of 0-1-3-12-22
* Canaan shows up in both good and bad lineups
* Our best lineup is a +22.9, but has only played 19:21 minutes all season (1-11-25-12-22)
* This lineup out rebounds our opponent by a pretty big margin, surpisingly

Nice to see I'm not the only who thinks Durant might come here in the offseason. Something seems like it fits for me.

Part of it. Also he seems to be good friends and have respect for Booker, Durant also seems like he still wants to do something big. Going to GS was big but not for any reason that really had any benefit for him. If he was the guy who led the Suns back to prominence he'd be hailed as a hero in Phoenix. I think he wants that, its obvious he hates being the bad guy no matter what he says to the contrary.

14 rebounds per 100 possessions actually isn’t a very big margin when you’ve only played 19 minutes.

The only trade I could think of where Anderson could be included would be for Wall, if Washington is really trying to get rid of him and the contract.

I'd rather stick with Point Booker. (cant believe i'm saying that) No way would I tie up that kind of money in a PG who hasnt led his team anywhere.

There is absolutely no chance of that happening. Maybe on the old Suns who had the strong reputation of Colangelo for being a top class organization that took care of his players. Not under Sarver; not with a rookie coach; not to the worst team in the West. No way, no how.

Demetrius Jackson is on a two-way deal with philly. Alan Williams also signed a two-way contract. We can’t just pick those guys up. We could give Juwan Evans a shot.
Thank you so much for correcting me, Split. I don't know how to read the G-League statistics site. I thought it said Undrafted for Jackson which meant he wasn't on a contract with anyone but I guess it just means if he was drafted or not, the other stuff just isn't listed. Philly sure has a lot of PG options. I think Evans suffers from Ulis' problem of being too short?
Ya I just googled him because I was curious. His numbers are real impressive.
On December 15, the Suns can send Ariza to Philly for Wilson Chandler and Demetrius Jackson.

Evans does look bigger than Ulis. Any chance he's actually 6' tall?
