His name was drawn out of the hat. Before each game the team draws a name of a role player from the opposing team and whoever's name is drawn that player gets to participate in the All-star for a Night program. It's a way to give back to the players at the end of the bench.

The previous winner was Jake Layman. Congrats to Jake and his family!

Bam Adebayo is a really good young player. Miami develops players better than pretty much any other organization in the league.

He's really good. And yet, he more than tripled his output against us. From really good to elite.

Adebayo is an specimen I wanted at the draft. MIA is not rushing him and it seems they have a big man for the next decade. Layman went nuts against us in preseason too, if I am not mistaken. We just don't learn.
