I feel like Okobo could be a decent scoring guard on another team. He may not be an Igor type of PG.

It's hard to develop two "project" players of the same position simultaneously.
One would think the failed Bender-Chriss experiment would have been exhibit "A" for Suns management.
I've yet to seen anything from Melton or Okobo that foreshadows a career as an NBA starter.

Was it Melvin or Okobo that had that nice layup against Charlotte?

LOL.
Of the two, I might be inclined to keep Melton, who is bigger and stronger, and actually had some decent stretches of play before he got hurt.
Since he's been back, he has struggled, though.

Ya, think Melton has shown more. He’s a better fit stylistically next to Booker. He needs some confidence in his shot, but he does make things happen on the court. Some g league time could have been good for him.

Jimmer looked terrible. Part of it was mental, but part of it was he just didn't make good decisions. Idk if he's going to get his rhythm or not, but to not understand getting Booker the ball after he hit a shot was weird to me. Read the room, Jimmer.

The Suns were destined to get dominated in this game when you look at the lineup the Suns put out there before the game. 5 rookies played, 2 were 2nd round picks, 1 was an undrafted rookie. 3 started, and besides Booker, they started Bender, who is widely considered a bust in relation to his position drafted. The Suns were missing 3 starters and probably the 6th man due to injury. Their backup bigman got ejected early and their other guy off the bench just signed after playing in China for the last ??? years. This is the team that the Suns have put together.

For some reason the Suns don't believe in G League assignments to give young players (Len, Bender, Chriss, Jackson, Okobo, Melton, etc.) experience (other than an occasional game or two). They have taken much more of a "sink or swim" attitude and that may be part of their problem when it comes to player development.

Imagine the Jazz having only Donovan Mitchell and rookie Rudy Gobert on the floor, while not having Favors at all, and Rubio, Ingles, Crowder, and O'Neale all hurt for the game. That's essentially the type of team that the Suns were last night.

Yes, they were seriously outgunned. But some of the guys "disappeared" as the game progressed.

50 FGA? I think he might lead the league in FGA‘s per 48minutes.

I know we're ravaged by injuries. But I agree with others that this is a really pathetic team we are trotting out every game. I can't imagine the thinking of anybody who keeps renewing season tickets and voluntarily paying to go to watch this crap. Sarver doesn't deserve your money.

I think there's a value to finishing out the season on a high note. To that end, the Suns didn't do Igor or anyone else any favors by not signing a 3/4 combo forward instead of Jimmer. Did we really need to figure out if he could be our backup SG next season? Were there other teams lining up for his services?

This is our current healthy depth chart:

PG: [None]
SG/Combo Guard: Booker, Okobo, Melton, Crawford, Daniels, Jimmer
SF: Bridges
PF: Bender
C: Ayton, Holmes, Spalding

WTF? Then Josh Jackson will come back and be added to that 2nd group.

You do? I'm confused by your conflicted message.

I liked that Emmanuel Terry guy better than Spaulding. Terry hustled and got rebounds. All I’ve seen of Spaulding is coming in getting smoked in the post and then making weird ill advised passes the few times he gets the ball in offense.

Really far down on the list of the Suns problems but I don’t get whey they were so eager to lock him into an2 year deal. He doesn’t stand out in any shape or form. And I don’t buy into the theory because he’s got the same agent as Rozier

I agree. I think going after Rozier is going to be a mistake, if that's their plan.

i dont think kokoskov survives after this season if he continues to let The lunatic run the show.
