They asked Trump about Ghislaine Maxwell yesterday at his COVID briefing, and he said that he wishes her well. I can't decide how big of a deal that is. On one hand, he's being gentle and lenient toward a likely accessory to child sex trafficking and pedophilia, while he is extremely harsh toward women who challenge or criticize him. On the other hand, it's just an offhand comment and he commits so many offenses that I don't think this one bubbles up to the top.

the conspiracy theory folks will say that he said that to throw the dogs off the scent when she ends up dead while in federal custody like her partner.

other folks will say it shows he knows he can't distance himself from her crimes because of how often they were together, so calling her out would be the same as calling himself out.

My wife and I started watching the new Netflix mini series about Epstein. We're 2 episodes through (of 4). Wow. What a disgusting man. And the fact that so many, especially Acosta, let him off the hook. What a twisted web of sexual deviancy and corruption.
