Is anyone going to agree with me this time? You don't run out the clock on yourself when you're down by one!!! Why does Monty keep doing this???
Fucking moron

This is a clown show coaching and playing. Second time they are down one this year and take down ALL THE TIME and miss. Don’t give themselces a chance to foul, go down 3 and have another shot at tying. W T F
THANK YOU. Finally somebody agrees.

Even without thinking about the reasons why, you can know it's the wrong thing to do, because it just feels wrong and panicky watching the clock run out when you're losing. Insane coaching philosophy. I've never seen a coach do this before.

That's a blocking foul. He wasn't there before Lillard took off.
Irregardless, the refs have been shit this game.
Complaining about the refs is lazy and tired. They were shafting the Blazers for basically the entire first quarter.
They're bad most nights. All that can be done is accept it and worry about things like the wide open three pointer Rubio missed at the buzzer.

As bad or worse than last year!

Having Rubio guarding Dame was curious but then not using the foul when he got beat was bad awareness
That was disappointing

Years from now, when we’re still a Sarver team, we’ll be saying, “Remember that time we were 7-4? That was great.”

I'll just take the shafting from time to time in stride instead of playing the lazy and tired card. This is the NBA. I've got a daughter to tend to now. More important things than fuming over another loss we could have avoided. Lots of dumb plays and stupid clock management by our coach at the end.

He had no reason to try to stay behind the line, we didn't need a three and there was plenty of time and room to step in for a closer shot.

And an oldie, but a goodie -
"What do you think about this team's execution?"
"I'm all for it."

Drug test the refs. Terrible on both sides. Suspiciously terrible even.
Suns back to making low BBIQ plays...a lot. They played hard but played dumb also.
I hope that’s the last of Frank’s major minutes. He’s just awful to watch. For ever shot he makes he makes a terrible defensive play or misses at the rim. His stats are deceiving because the dumb shit he does won’t show up in the box score. Just park him out on the 3 from here on out please.
Fuck Dame for taunting the crowd at the end. You’re on an underachieving 11-16 team. Fuck all the way off. Go make another lame ass mixtape.

Yeah, would have much rather had Carter out there but I suppose Monty was figuring no timeouts. Or maybe he wasn’t. Hard to say

Ayton's back.
Whole new ballgame now.
I’m hopeful but I don’t expect a different result tomorrow. I’m not going to put all my chips in on Ayton until he does something meaningful.
I hope he gives the Suns a much needed boost, both mental and physical but I’m not really counting on him to be on fire out of the gate. It’s not really the Ayton way.

The officials first quarter whistles sound like a symphony of apology for the Mexico City game.
Don’t worry. They make up for it as the game goes on.

Why is Ty Jerome getting zero minutes with Booker out?

Yes. Down 1, you need to shoot earlier so if you miss, you can play the foul game and get another shot at it.
