The Lakers are the team that I thought would give them the most trouble. It’ll be interesting to see how defenses adapt to it in a playoff series, but for now, it looks to be sustainable. The Lakers adjusted to them and kept Howard/McGee on the bench, at least in the 4th Q.

Hopefully Ayton can have a field day against them tonight.

If anybody can sustain it in the playoffs, it will be these Rockets. They get a ton of calls.

D'Antoni ball has evolved into its final form.

I read the Warriors are signing Marquese Chriss to a 2-year contract. So it looks like when they waived him earlier, it was just for roster/cap reasons. Glad to see him find a home there.

pretty sure Split and INF pointed that out when it happened. I still think can't believe we used 2 first round picks to acquire him.

Ya, they signed him back to a 2-way deal immediately after releasing him. Just needed to wait until they could create a roster spot to add him to the full roster.

He’s been pretty good for the warriors this year. He’s rebounding, blocking shots, and shooting efficiently. He doesn’t really shoot 3’s anymore. Just sticking to his strengths.

it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if they just waive the white flag with playoffs and trade Saric, Baynes and TJ for whatever they can get and hope they get decent lottery odds.
Not sure how that would would sit with Book.
Guess what? I don't really give a s*** if he likes it or not. He's got four more years on his contract.

You can't cater to every good player on your team (he's really good, but he's not a star you build champions around). If he ever wants to play somewhere else he can play out his contract and sign somewhere else in 2024.
This is how you get your franchise even more in shambles. Dumping two competent players like Saric and Baynes does nothing for us.
I disagree. We could have gotten players that could have actually factored in to next season. Neither of those will be back this season, so keeping them does nothing for us.

Oh come on. Don’t be like that, Split. Get in the Dragan Bender hot tub with us, there’s plenty of room. It’s me, Mori and this blow up doll of Ricky Rubio. :)

Haha, I was always in the Chriss hot tub

I would give Bender another look.
Desperate times sometimes necessitate desperate measures.

Not sure this was mentioned on here, but TJ Warren fell in the Pacers' last game and had to be taken to the hospital for the resulting head injury. He missed tonight's game because of a concussion. No additional comment necessary.
Back in the starting lineup tonight. 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal.

I was just thinking that. He was apparently doing well in G-League. He had never done that well anywhere before so it's a good sign that he's solved some of his aggressiveness issues.

I'm telling you. 25-year-old Dragan Bender is going to be a good NBA player. He is only 22 right now, despite everything.

I would really like it if they picked up Isiah Thomas. As much I like Okobo, I’d rather be a little more competitive than we are. Okobo and JC just aren’t cutting it. JC is effective in spot duty as a defender say for 10 mpg. But this squad needs another ball handler who creates his own shots for 15-20 mpg.

The problem is that Thomas doesn't make many of those shots he creates anymore.

He's not the player he was pre-injury, unfortunately.
