Offense went cold with the bench guys, no real creators or continuity which is to be expected. Agreed about the "good" mistakes Stix is making. Saric and Cam missing will help the bench some but I think Monty may have to stagger CP, Book and Ayton a bit to have a go-to guy to play around. Carter can't be the lead guy off the bench.

Yeah, it is pretty bad for such a smooth shooter.

2nd qtr ugly, refs helping the Lakers out a bit but they've turned it up and we're not knocking down shots. Good news is Paul looks spry and he and Crowder look like they've been playing together a while - just vets who know how to play. Bridges is off this game, Ayton leveled off. Gallo brings the energy and shotmaking, Jones some activity but surprised Monty's getting him so much run.

Hope so. When Paul left near the end of the half, he looked like he was limping a bit.

We're getting a lot of corner 3 opportunities which have been going to Mikal tonight. He's been off tonight but it's either going to be him or Cam taking those which is fine with me. Ayton showing a bit more in the 3rd offensively. It's like he's scared of getting hit so he just avoids contact altogether.

When you follow LeBron from team to team, its hard to keep track of other players.

Nice quarter for suns. Of course no Lebron or AD. Gotta say, this has been an encouraging game from Ayton. Just play like this every game and I’ll be happy. We can go from there.

I'm glad he got something on him. I was getting a bit upset that Smith wasn't going right at Dudley. It's disrespectful to put an old man on a young guy like that.

The bench isn't engendering any confidence. Let's hope not having a real backup point guard isn't a problem again this year.
