This team definitely has another gear that they can go to when they want it.

I disagree with EJ. DA should take it personal. He gave me Corie Blount flashbacks. It’s insulting
Tom Chambers is really the only one in the organization who's called out Ayton in the past.
Everyone else gives him the participation trophy treatment. I kind of get it, he's a nice kid, and I don't think he's trying to suck. I wonder what it would take for him to get angry.

We went down 10+ points like 3 different times and still won.

Not a great third but finished strong to stay within 4.

The blazers did not look happy about losing that game. Incredibly satisfying 4th quarter.

Another nice contribution by the bench ... Dario, Payne and Crowder, and, to a lesser extent, Nader.
Booker made 35 points look easy.
I'm OK with Ayton being a complementary player as long he's OK with receiving a corresponding contract ...
He should be ashamed of just 4 boards in 23 minutes, though.

Ayton doing his best Corie Blount imitation. Just kind of out there running back and forth. 4 points and 2 rebounds at half. Hopefully they’ll remind him in the locker room that the all star break is over
Ha ha. Hadn’t heard that name in a long time.

Ayton’s defense has been pretty solid, especially when he switched onto Dame but...thats about all that’s working for him tonight.
He couldn’t keep Kanter off the boards.

It doesn't, but we've hung around and have won games like this before. The closer it is at the end tho, the more dangerous Dame becomes. Still, Book and CP don't look like they want to lose this one. Gotta cut the 2nd chance opportunities- long 3s lead to long rebounds and it's killed us tonight.
Shel gets it.

Love watching them shift into it while seeing the frustration from opponents. Be interested to see what pieces they add at the deadline. Rebounding hopefully is addressed

I'm loving Crowder's BDE right now.
That’s what you need to go along with your 911.

It’s not like the Hulk. Yes, we would like it when he’s angry.

Yes, it was a blast to watch as the Suns methodically took them out in the 4th quarter. You could tell the Blazers really wanted this one but the Suns wouldn’t have it. Another professional win.
I don’t know if it’s just talk but according to Jones, we’re staying pat. I guess we’ll see.
