Given that the Nugs traded for Gordon, do you think they regret losing Grant?

Not sure what to make of the Portland move. Hood always seemed to torch us, so I'm kind of glad he's gone. But Powell is considered to be the better player.

Yes I actually think they should have tried to trade MPJ (Love this guy) (somewhere else for more) because MPJ just doesn't seem to fit their game when I watch them play. Seems to me like he needs to be the focal point on a team and that is not going to happen there. As for Gordon he will fit fine but I don't think he will move the needle till they fix the MPJ issue.

Curious how that will work out for him. He is now a leader on the worst team in the league. He is getting 10 more minutes a night, but taking over twice the shots as before (and scoring 2x as much). But his other stats are about the same, and his efficiency dropped off a cliff (56% eFG last year, under 50% this year).

I don't think anyone believes it was a smart move. I think it was all ego and why we didn't go after him (with the caveat of not bringing Saric back) as he was an assuming good fit for us as well. James likes his low ego, high IQ team players.

Yes. Pure basketball skill wise, probably not. But whole package, yes.

We’ll see...they lose KCP too. He’s been struggling, but he was maybe their 3rd best player in the playoffs last year. Might be counting on a buyout guy to fill his role.
