The Suns absolutely demolished the Lakers. What a wonderful way to end my Sunday.

Just watching now, this 3rd Q feels weird…like no one is playing defense

Lakers defense is so bad they get the other team to give up trying as well.
That leads into a point I want to make about LeBron recently. His obvious hunt for the scoring title is ridiculous. He routinely gives up on defense throughout the entire game and NO ONE in the NBA media calls him out for it, but they love to talk about him leading the league in scoring at 37 years old. Anyone who puts him in their MVP list or All-NBA team this season should lose their voting privilege.

Guys - that first quarter has been over for more than 4 hours. Should I call my doctor?

When he let Book shoot that second back to back wide open three, it was ridiculous. He just looked at him and watched. Never even thought of running at him.

Maybe it’s starting.

There’s no one challenging the lakers for a play-in spot and they’re too far behind the Clippers to move up to 8. I don’t think this will happen often, but the play-in is not motivating teams to try this year in the west.(Except Minny, they are definitely trying to get out of the play-in and into the top 6) LeBron is fully on cruise control and does not appear to be doing much of anything defensively. Probably knows they aren’t getting out of the play-in either.
One thing on AD…I know he’s always been a little injury prone, missing games here and there his whole career, but it’s gotten really bad in LA. He’s missing most of the season. They won a title, so I guess it’s all gravy, but that AD trade post title has left the Lakers pretty dry.

Love the beatdown. Lakers can't match us and just aren't any good in general. I still get nervous when I see LBJ going full throttle, but he can't do that for 40 minutes a night anymore and the Lakers don't have the talent to make up the difference.
The starters were humming with DA completely controlling the paint in the 1st half. His efficiency around the rim is just unbelievable and I'm surprised now when he misses. And when he's engaged on the glass he's a different player and we're a different team. Then you bring in JaVale and Biz and it becomes too much.
I really like how Payne's been playing. He played a smooth game last night, 11 assists with no turnovers and responded well after the Toronto game. He and Book have really gotten better playing off of each other and he's less feast or famine, and more controlled and playing with pace and picking his spots. As weird as it sounds, I can't wait for him to get back to the bench and really lead that unit now.

Another funny part is that because I am the family IT guy, I get stuck installing routers for family members. I set their guest password to the same thing.

This version of Ayton is exactly what I want. If you get this guy on most nights, that's absolutely a max player. He's had several good games recently, even with Chris Paul absent. Now he just needs to get better about being more consistent.

Ya he was great last night…The Booker/Ayton duo is developing some chemistry too. Let’s see what they can do against a good team though…that Laker team was garbage and I think we could have won by 50 if we wanted to…they didn’t play defense from the get go(that LeBron clip going around with him not even coming back on D was 3 minutes into the game), but we stopped playing defense after the 1st Q. Not really complaining as I think it was smart…no need to waste energy ion a game you’re gonna win by 30.
