The scouting report is definitely to pressure Shamet as a ball handler.

You were saying we should wait til Christmas 8-)

Good call.

Don’t expect him to be his old all-star self but more of this please.

Playing this Laker team helps, but still good to see. Hopefully we won’t need him to be like this every night once we get Pascal ;), but nice if he could bring it Out situationally

Crowder, Shamet, Dario, CamJ and all the picks and swaps. Who’s say no?

Not me. Though I’d start with a lesser offer. If we could somehow keep CamJ?

Paul/Booker/Bridges/Siakam/Ayton
Payne/Okogie/Lee/CamJ/Landale.

Pascal would be a long term 1-2 combo with Book and you could put Mikal/CamJ/Ayton around them once CP3 is done. That’s a phenomenal team still…and a phenomenal closing lineup even now if CP3 is gonna be a defensive liability.

Tonight would be a good night for Dominayton to show up.
He was solid.

This was a good game to get our rhythm and confidence back. Lot of guys stepped up tonight.

CP3 with 28 points and 8 assists.
Ayton had 21 points (on 9/11 shooting) and 11 rebounds.
Torrey Craig had 17 points on 6-7 shooting (4-4 on 3s), 8 rebounds, 4 assists. He was just on fire. One of the best games I've ever seen him play.
Damion Lee with 15 points and five 3s.
Shamet even kicked in 13 points off the bench.

I actually really enjoyed seeing Saric get 5 points at the end of the game. The guy doesn't have NBA athleticism any more, but he is smart and he can still shoot, set screens, rebound, and pump-fake like a mofo.

Schroder hit us for 30 points in the losing effort. Side note, I didn't realize until tonight that Scottie Pippen Jr. plays for the Lakers? Interesting. In general, though, god these Lakers are bad without their top 2-3 guys.

I had been thinking we were keeping a roster spot open to execute a trade where we get one more player back than what we are sending out. But it is December. And the injuries are piling up.

Might be good to bring in another player, don't you think, James?

You can even just bring in someone on a non-guaranteed deal so you can cut them if need be for trade purposes.

20 three point makes while shooting over 50 percent and without Book is pretty impressive. Although the Lakers defense or lack there of was a big part of that.
