The standings are so packed in the west right now. We are 1 game back of 1st in the West, but 2 games from being out of the top 8 entirely.

These awful losses we’ve been taking to the dregs of the league will come back to haunt us.

I really don’t think it will. I’ll be surprised if we don’t finish top 4-5 in the west. We’ll get healthy at some point and get reinforcements and go on a run.

Bridges was always going to re-enter the league once significant prison time was off of the table.

This contract talk is just a way of both sides establishing value. He’ll still have to serve a lengthy suspension, I imagine.

He’s still a POS who has a long path to redemption.

I don't think they will.

Look, homecourt just doesn't matter. This team has had homecourt two years in a row, and in the first playoff run, they got to play three teams in a row that were missing one of the their two top players. It still didn't lead to a 'ship. The second year, that got blown out on their homecourt in a game 7 by a mediocre team.

The West is pretty even 1-8. If the Suns are a true championship contender, it really won't matter where they are seeded or who they face.

If they end up missing the playoffs due to these dumb losses, then they probably deserve it, and we would be getting a desperately needed lottery pick.

A very long path, FF, but ultimately, this doesn't really bother me. Maybe it would bother me more if I rooted for the Hornets. Being an NBA player is just a job, when it's all said an done. The most important thing here is that this is someone who at least is being held accountable. And he at least is scheduled to get help. Of course, if I was his employer, I would want to speak to him to try to get a feel for if he actually was remorseful and serious about changing. And I would think this should bring his salary demands way down, which I mention, not as a roster-building bonus, but more of a consequence: acting like a trash human being off the court should hinder a player's ability to get top dollar. Top dollar shouldn't go to someone who is going to tarnish the organization and act criminally in the community.

The thing is, basically no one has been healthy. Milwaukee has been without Middleton. Denver is dealing with Murray in/out of the lineup, MPJ missing time. Memphis lost Bane. Zion and Ingram have been in and out of the lineup.

Anybody else watching these Christmas Day games? So far the 76ers seem to be handling the Knicks. Both teams seem to have woefully thin benches. Knicks just can't really stop Embiid/Harden, though.

LOL at this next game coming up, Lakers/Mavs. I guess they didn't know that the Lakers would suck when they made this schedule ...

You can tell ABC/ESPN considers this Laker game to be top billing since they have Hubie Brown on color commentary. Hubie is 89 years old; he was born in 1933.

It's Xmas day so the games are on in the background
Sixers v Knicks seemed to be a decent game, Knicks were ballin every time I looked up but guess they ran outta gas in the 4th

Lakers were just doubling Luka in the parts of the 1st half I watched and leaving Bullock, Woods and others wiiiiide open and they were just bricking. I just smh cause guess it's only against Suns that those bums shoot lights out 🙄🙄

I think I’m on board the “trade for Randle” train. Knicks need to go on a bid of a slide for his value to come back down, though.

And now at the end of the 3rd
Mavs up by 20 so I would guess the 3pters started going in

Bucks v Celtics should be decent
