If he can’t log in how can he see your message on the board? Says he can’t log in on any device he has. Gets a weird thing about a captcha but doesn’t work.

It would be like him to screw the franchise on his way out. Can't be done with him soon enough.

That just makes me think we should scratch this season even more. We can’t even make a Crowder deal without Sarver

Seems like some sort of conflict of interest. The NBA should have some sort of mechanism where they take over on the interim and work with new ownership on trades/deals to avoid this kind of thing. Not good for the league for an outgoing owner to potentially harm a franchise on their way out.

There’s also this from a ringer article:
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2023/1/2/ ... draft-2023
```
The Suns have a new owner who in all likelihood will want to do everything in his power to keep the team’s current championship window open as long as possible. Armed with all their own draft picks, a superstar in his prime, and several principal characters who’ve won 71 percent of their games since 2020 and are under contract for the next couple seasons, Phoenix is already pretty good. But stasis would also be their worst enemy. Big things could be on the horizon.
If a star becomes available, some combination of Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Johnson (in a sign-and-trade) and those picks would be an attractive package for any team that isn’t looking to bottom out. Think about Towns. What if the Suns offer Bridges, Landry Shamet, and as many unprotected picks and swaps as the CBA allows? Minnesota may be able to find a better offer, but that one is damn good.
How about the Heat and Jimmy Butler? Or the Raptors and Siakam? Or (slow drumroll) what about the Lakers and LeBron James? The last one is a face-melter that’s not outside the realm of possibility. With his family rooted in Los Angeles, flights to and from Phoenix are only an hour. James Jones is a teammate he won three championships with. LeBron would finally get to play with Chris Paul, a long-time close friend, and Devin Booker, a pure scorer whose on and off-ball fit makes plenty of sense.
Would pushing multiple future assets all in on a 38-year-old be the wisest decision? Probably not. How badly would their defensive identity take a hit without Bridges and/or Ayton? Quite a bit. If they’re somehow able to keep Bridges, these Suns might even be the favorite, especially if they’re able to bring in a big like Nikola Vucevic, Brook Lopez, or Jakob Poeltl at the mid-level. LeBron is more likely to stay in L.A. than not, but if he asks out this summer the Suns are a convenient place for him to end his career without losing face.
```

Eh, he still owns the team, not sure how you can take that away from him. It’s just a crappy situation…It’s not even necessarily on Sarver…as part of the deal Ishbia may have told Sarver he doesn’t want him to change anything. Wants to make all of those decisions himself.

I wouldn't get too carried away with the Windhorst article. He isn't reporting that the Suns can't make a trade, or that Sarver is blocking a trade, or that the Suns are having problems getting Sarver's approval.
Additionally, Crowder makes under the league average by $600,000. So they could move him without even consulting with Sarver if they don't get back more than the average player salary.
So if Washington offered Rui Hachimura, Vernon Carey Jr., and a 2nd round pick for Crowder, Jones could bring it to Garvin, and Garvin could approve it.

Ya but can’t acquire a guy like Kuzma without Sarver approval…Or Eric Gordon…makes that report that the Crowder trade was about to go down and fell apart at the end a little suspicious…did Sarver nix it?

You mean the one that reportedly got nixed because Utah wanted more draft compensation?

No I meant the one with Milwaukee and Houston that would’ve brought EG here

Yeah, it's not even that he necessarily wants to harm the team on purpose on his way out. But Sarver is not going to sign off on anything that he feels could even possibly jeopardize the deal. Why would he, if he's doing what's in his own best interest?
And since apparently the deal won't be completed by February 9, it looks like we are basically stuck with our current roster this season, for better or worse. Probably still a Crowder trade without anything added to it, but certainly not a Kuzma-level trade. Maybe a buyout signing with an exception after Ishbia takes over?

The good news is, Chris Paul should be even more internally developed next year.

That article was frustrating, but like INF says I took it more to mean that James Jones just needs to get multiple people to sign off on a deal. If there's a home run out there, he could take it to Sarver (through Garvin) and Ishbia and both could approve it. I don't think that's impossible. It's just harder.
Alternatively, I wonder if this was "leaked" because Jones is getting stonewalled by Sarver on deals and this was a way to exert pressure externally.

I for sure think this was leaked by Jones to help explain why he hasn’t done anything

You could always walk him through incognito mode / InPrivate browsing to see if it's cookie / cache related. Could also be popup blocker.

Depends on if he's using any browser sync across devices. Though those usually don't sync (cookies and cache).
