Ayton has 27 points and 16 Rebounds so they have him hanging around the three-point line setting screens....

Is it just me or is Ayton dunking the ball more recently?

Mikal/Cam/DA were all fantastic. Gotta give Craig props for his shooting too. Loved the Ish minutes as well.

Paul can’t hit shit. Good thing we didn’t need it.

I mean that’s how we run the offense. Our guards initiate everything and most of it starts with an Ayton screen…it did get Ayton 30The Bobster wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:13 pmAyton has 27 points and 16 Rebounds so they have him hanging around the three-point line setting screens....

I’d sit him out in b2b as well. Shut him down a week before the playoffs too. I might even bench him in the playoffs if we have a lead and just keep him ready for the stretch if we need it.

He’s having such a weird season. Think we really need to find a way to keep him rested. Need a backup pg that can take the load off him and let Book/Mikal take on the brunt of the offense.

Sure seems like it. Some are actually pretty emphatic.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:16 pmIs it just me or is Ayton dunking the ball more recently?

That strategy helped lead him to a great night and an easy win.The Bobster wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:13 pmAyton has 27 points and 16 Rebounds so they have him hanging around the three-point line setting screens....

So do I--when starting the third quarter they said, "Perhaps the Suns should be going to Ayton like they did in that first half in more of their games."

"I'm a Deandre Ayton guy."--Al McCoy, September 21, 2022.

Maybe we can get every opponent to wear the Pistons uniforms. Then Ayton will be the player I expect him to be.

We tied for 4th right now…at least until the clippers/Mavs game finish. Clips look like they will win..Mavs probably lose, so we should be in 5th

Payne is so utterly undependable.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:23 pmHe’s having such a weird season. Think we really need to find a way to keep him rested. Need a backup pg that can take the load off him and let Book/Mikal take on the brunt of the offense.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

That's not true. He's dependably erratic.
