This game making me think we should’ve rooted for the Lakers to get 5…they don’t look good

Kyrie hit a couple of big shots but I think this was more about the Kings unable to execute on the offensive end. They actually remind me a lot of last season's Suns team. They look invincible when everything is clicking as a group, but no single player can generate a good shot on every possession. Even a lot of Fox's paint drives are really tough shots, he's just happened to be pretty damn good at hitting them this season. I'm skeptical of him being consistent enough in that spot to bail out the team throughout the playoffs.

I've thought the same thing for weeks. They're the most vulnerable to fatigue.

Lots of big playoff implication basketball in the West tonight but so far all the wrong teams are winning.

The Suns aren't playing so of course all the wrong teams are winning.

The clippers winning is good I think. It should kinda give us some control over who ends up 5. The clippers play us on the last game of the season and their only other game is against the Blazers. They aren’t losing that one, so if the Clips win, we could rest everyone Sunday and lock them into 5, or we could beat them and knock them out for whoever would be behind them.

Though it does probably eliminate the Lakers as a potential 1st round opponent if you wanted that.

The Clippers are my least preferred matchup. Kawhi might be the best KD defender in the league and they have depth at every position.

Steph Curry will always worry me, but they haven't played well for a consistent stretch all season. They also have some serious depth issues.

The Lakers are hanging on by a thread. I don't think they'd even push the Suns to a Game 7.

Not sure Kawhi has been the same defender. They are deep though. I think GS is my least preferred team

I agree. That's the only "right" team winning from the three games.

We've taken out the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors before but it was in the Western Conference Finals and it was 47 years ago in 1976.

He's clearly not the same as when they faced off in the Finals, but the biggest reason I wanted KD is for his ability to get a shot on anyone at anytime.

In those clutch moments against the Clippers, Kawhi would be the guy to defend him and probably only Giannis would be better to do the job in that spot.

I just think they’re gonna be too reliant on Russ for shot creation. He’s been good for them, but I’d take my chances on a team needing Russ to be good.

Kawhi probably is the best defender in the west for KD. But that’s the benefit of having KD and Book.

I don't think the chemistry and rhythm of the team is right yet, to be thinking of resting guys. They still need to ramp up to prepare themselves for the playoffs.

I don’t disagree, but we’re talking 1 game(or maybe even just 1 half of one game) I don’t think that’s going to make a huge difference. There’s no reason to rest the next two.
