Nurk up to 13/8/5/2/1, game high +16…EG cooking too

It's fun when it works, but I hold my breath every time someone attempts one of those long cross court passes. Better teams will eat those up.

We're gonna have some Nurk highlights after this one...

Suns turned up the offense and the Blazers cooled off. EG is scoring from everywhere, PointNurk is making passes, Goodwin gave us good minutes and looks like he'll be a best like Okogie. KD still doesn't look comfortable but has hit a few shots, just doesn't look engaged overall.

Nurk passing is great. Our defense not so much, but we're without Allen, Yuta and Okogie.

Grant defends him very well.

Yuta will have a lot of open 3s if Nurkic passes like that on a constant base.

76 at the half is pretty good.

Yeesh.. what an ass kicking for second half of that quarter.

Man we went from basically even to 20 up in no time. We are so potent when we get rolling.

Guys…Nurkic just dropped a 1st half stat line that Ayton never once had in his 5 years here in a full game.

My guess is we mostly see the bench in half 2

One of those 2 is playing like they have something to prove.

Feels like the defense will drop a bit but the offense is so potent we'll just fire away and make up the difference. Even if one or two guys are off, we have others who can pick up the slack. No Beal and KD is off, EG starts cooking. 76 pts at half with no Beal or Allen.

If Nurk stays healthy this is going to be an absolute steal. Especially with Allen. I don't have any real expectations of Little.

We just have so much more weapons than we did last year. Even with Beal, Allen, Okogie, and Yuta not playing, we just casually have EG dropping 20 in the 1st half.

And yet, the Suns outscored Portland 39-15 in the 2nd. Good defense led to great offense.
